Property seems to have been recently updated. Lobby area was very nice. Rooms were fine but a bit worn out. Location is perfect for families visiting Georgia Tech. Front desk staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, including Tayy and Kristen. Thanks to them for making our stay more enjoyable: we would gladly come back.

We did not book any restaurant and we ended up going back into the hotel without having dinner. The staff was so helpful (really sorry that I can't remember the name of the guy in the reception that night) he went beyond to help us order something to eat. We would definitely recommend to our friend.

Our family of four had an ample sized room. The a/c was stuck on a certain temperature that was not good for us so we were able the move. The front desk staff were very attentive and helpful. The location of this hotel is ideal for visiting Georgia Tech. I hope administration stays on top of the maintenance of the affordable option for families wanting to stay here.

Good location to Emory Hospital, probably a 1930-1940 building, no microwave, way overpriced for what you get, pay high price for motel and get ripped off with $20 a day valet parking only. I would never stay there again. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location in the heart of Georgia tech, they accept dogs (up to 2 per room) with an extra fee. Breakfast is good. Walkable/short drive distance to restaurants. Room was clean. Valet parking is obligatory (you’re not allowed to park your car).

Great location for GT parents. I was very happy with our stay. The only negative thing was that the curtains don’t shut all the way and it was too bright in our room. We had to rig the curtains to sleep.

Updates Needed
The front desk staff is exceptional! However, the hotel itself needs updating. The toilet tank cover was just sitting on top, didn’t fit; there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom; walls weee peeling; and EXTREMELY noisy with the street. At night it sounded like a drag racing strip with the cars and noise. Beds were comfortable and as I said, all of the front staff including parking were extremely friendly and helpful.

An SEC Championship weekend at the Hampton Inn
The hotel was clean, no bad surprises. It was a great location and ideally located. But the thing I thought most remarkable was the staff. Extremely pleasant, respectful, highly efficient, highly effective and so friendly. Loved them all.

handy location - easy walk to olympic/cent. park
I was surprised at the $20/nt parking fee. we had a king-sized bed on the 6th floor. We kept the fan on all night to cover traffic noise in the morning, and that worked. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. We walked to and from a concert at the Tabernacle on a Sunday night, and felt very safe.

The accomidations were great, breakfast was awesome, friendly staff, although they didn't know how to get the Pelaton bike to work! I can't believe we paid $180 for the room and had to pay an additional $10 to park!

Enjoyed staying here! Valet parking was nice (extra cost) and big breakfast! Bathroom needs some tlc but as a whole it was nice! Staff were excellent!

The woman checking us in was unfriendly. I was not aware of the $20 parking fee for each day a d the extra $20 for "incidentals". No coffee made after 1000 am although ads read coffee available

Went through paying for the stay at front desk, again. I had already paid in Full through Travelocity. Manager had to remove charges. Still going to monitor my account to make sure I wasn’t double charged. Desk clerk said software said to charge for room. You should check out the communication between you and the hotel. This was quite distressing and I won’t be calm until I see no further charges for this stay. I paid for this and have the email receipt from Travelocity. It was ONLY having this printed out that proved we had paid to the desk staff and manager.

Disappointed! Room smelled and needs remodeling.
Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve ever had. I’ll never stay here again. The hotel only has paid, valet parking, which made it inconvenient for drop off and visitors. The location had limited space altogether, but there was free parking not too far away on the street. The shared areas of the hotel were all very clean, and the staff were all helpful. My one issue with staff involved the handling of the elevator. The hotel had one working elevator. When I checked in, I used one and it seems like it was going to be stuck, so I immediately told the front desk staff. A woman said that someone had gotten stuck in it earlier…and then she shut it down. Why not shut it down before I told her? She still never put up a sign. My main issue was that my room had a musty, stale smell that never left. And the bathroom needed a total remodel. The tub had permanent stains in it, even though it was clean. It was dingy. Forget about a relaxing soak… The ceilings had black spots on it..mold?? And it was poorly designed. There was no hanging rack for wash cloths or hand towels. Management needs to tend to these issues ASAP!

Overall great but please sort the smelly rooms.
On the while, really really happy with the stay but there was an awful smell in the room which seemed to get worse. It felt as though the carpet was damp so it may have been that but it does need addressing urgently - other reviews mention it too. On the 3rd morning, woke with a chesty cough, as did my daughter which cleared as soon as we left the hotel Everything else was great. Breakfast really good, happy staff, free coffee, great location so if you sorted the room smell, it would have been amazing 👍
