“pleasant”

Very pleasant simple hotel, frequented by business people. Some distance away from larger shopping malls and downtown core. Would recommend renting a car if you do not have one. We were visiting our grandkids somewhat close by otherwise there would have been no reason to be there.

“its a nice place.”

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well stocked (ie bathroom amenities and coffeemaker supplies). The negatives were that the showerhead needed to be replaced, the hair dryer did not work, and some of the hot food on the breakfast buffett wasn't (ie eggs and bacon). The location was nice as I was close to several restaurants and it was just off of 285 but not so close as to hear the traffic noise.

“Overall a nice hotel.”

Clean rooms, friendly staff, decent free breakfast. Price is o.k. Only negative - you can hear people talking outside your room.

“convenient”

It was value for money. There were limitations on local restaurants. A little loud in the hallways late at night. Easy Interstate access.

“Great inexpensive hotel near Stone Mountain”

They were very welcoming when we arrived. We had just left a horrible hotel because of the awful conditions. We were so happy to have left that one and come to this hotel which had clean room, better choices for continental breakfast, clean pool, great service and a door that actually locked.

“Good Experience”

Over all experience was good. The only complaint is that I feel they should serve a variety of breakfast meats. (Chicken, Beef, and Pork) Not just pork.

“Better than expected”

although this hotel only had 2 1/2 stars, it looked fairly new and was up to date in decor. The breakfast was rather crowed that weekend due to a bus staying at the hotel; but other than that, it was a very pleasurable place to stay.

“Hampton Inn Northlake - I recommend it.”

Single woman traveling alone, and I felt safe. Most of the guests looked like 40+ -somethings on business trips. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. I had a room with two double beds. There was a refrigerator, hair dryer, and an ironing board. There were a few toiletries provided (shampoo/conditioner/soap). Plenty of towels. Complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby at all times. Breakfast in the morning was sufficient and great to get your day started, if in a rush- hot items: scrambled eggs, bacon, french toast sticks, oatmeal, and waffles you can make. There was some fresh fruit: apples, and bananas, etc. there was juice, coffee and tea of course, muffins, toast, etc. The pool looked clean, but I did not get to use it. I was happy to use the small fitness room, which opens at 6am. There are a couple of treadmills, a recumbent exercise bike, and some weights and tvs. The area is on the outskirts, and there's supposed to be a mall nearby. It's a fine place to stay if you have something to do in this area. It seemed to have everything you'd need for a comfortable night's sleep; it's not a fancy hotel, but well taken care of. The hotel staff - especially the front desk man and woman - were extremely nice, polite and helpful. I would certainly return, and have no complaints.
