Excellent hotel in Stone Mtn. GAPosted Jan 23, 2015
I always stay at this Hampton Inn when I'm in Atlanta. It's close enough to the city without all the headaches. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and well kept.

Nice hotel close to Stone MountainPosted Jan 2, 2015
The staff was nice overall, but the lady in charge of the breakfast area was not very polite. Our room was clean, but we noticed that trash cans were not empty every day.

Bad security policy by the hotelPosted Dec 8, 2014
My door car key failed twice. Both times the desk clerk reissued me new card keys with only asking me for my room number. In other words, no verification that I was staying in the hotel, requesting my name, or ID. really lax security.

Pros: Clean , Quiet , Friendly staff, and reasonably priced. Need I say more.
My family was visiting for Lacrosse tournament ,hotel is convenient to interstate but not near road noise ,very quiet. Connie at front desk was very helpful in giving directions to shopping and dining . Actually everyone we met was very nice and helpful . Excellent place to stay and only minutes to Stone Mountain!!!!

90th birthday partyPosted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: Staff very helpful, clean rooms and free breakfast always a plus
Cons: Maybe larger fitness room.
Location: Was there for 90th birthday party at Stone Mountain. Got to climb the Mountain. Great view from on top.
Visited Stone Mountain for my wife's aunts 90th birthday. Everything was great and staying at the Hampton was outstanding from rooms, staff and always great food at breakfast. Coffee at the ready at all times and the popcorn for light snack was very good. Always look for a Hampton wherever we travel.

Needs to communicatePosted Nov 1, 2014
I booked this hotel in March for a stay in October. Arrived to check in only to be told there was no room available for us and our third party we booked through was to blame. No phone call? No clue how many reservations/ rooms you have? They did arrange our stay at another hotel and comped it, but still would be nice to know before arrival.

some disappointmentsPosted Oct 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Generally clean, however, my room was not made-up one day. Could flush toilet only by removing lid and lifting valve stem (hotel staff should have noticed/fixed). Not within walking distance of restaurant or lounge (bowling alley next door loud, uncomfortable & I am a bowler). I discovered by accident that complimentary beer & wine was offered in the lobby at least one evening of my stay. Nice touch, but I wish I'd known about it (probably my fault for not reading hotel information more closely). Significant sports event (NLCS games 3 and 4 on Foxsports) not available on hotel TV, not even by pay per view.

Very clean and comfortablePosted Sep 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Each and every employee we came into contact with was polite and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable and the surroundings were nice. I was also very happy with the continental breakfast. We would absolutely stay here again!
