Six Flags visit

Pros: The amenities and the service of the staff.
Cons: How your credit card is billed.
Location: Plenty of restaurants; Six Flags; Atlanta
My stay was excellent and the hotel and staff were as well. The only problem I had was with my bill. I was quoted on rate, billed another and charged twice as much on my credit card. It was straightened out, but the fact that it occurred was at all was annoying and could have negatively affected my trip.

In my experience, most Hampton Inns have been more like a 4 star hotel but the Atlanta/Douglasville Hampton Inn was not up to the same standards usually set for this chain. The hallways were not well lit, which made the cleanliness of the carpet questionable. The elevators were slow and noisy. The vending and ice machines didn't work properly. The room was nice but the bed was not as plush and comfortable as in other Hampton Inns. The breakfast room did not offer as many food options and was not organized well in relation to the flow of traffic. The coffee was not even in the dining area but across the hall in the lobby. My biggest complaint is the noise from the hallway, adjacent rooms, and highway traffic. Other Hampton Inns were much quieter even if the room faced a highway. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, but not as polished or professional.

Chris at the front desk is awesome! He was so friendly and helpful not just to us but to everyone I saw him come in contact with in the lobby. Truly the quickest and best check in experience I have ever had!

Clean and Convenient

Pros: Location, price and convenience
Cons: Sofas in king suites should be deodorized after each guest stay
Location: Decent mall, lots of places to eat. Restaurants and mall in walking distance.
Have stayed there several times. Everytime I have to stay at a hotel in this area I choose this one
