BIG let down!

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Access to freeways and walking distance to food court in mall.
Cons: See above as well as someplace to eat in the hotel besides room service and a snack place.
Location: World of coke museum and aquarium
Where to begin... There are plenty of hotels in downtown Atlanta that you don't need to choose this one. We arrived around 8:30 pm from a long flight and checked right in but had to wait 11 min to get an elevator to our room along with 50 other people on a Thursday night. Once in the room we called to have more pillows brought up and waited 9 minutes for someone to answer. Over an hour later we were delivered more pillows and 3 of them smelled like cat urine. We decided to eat room service and stay in and relax the first night. At 3:35 in the morning people were screaming and partying in the hallways and slamming doors which is not the hotels fault however we found out that you can hear everything in your room. When someone flushed the toilet above us or took a shower we could hear running water. Everytime someone spoke, watched tv, had a phone call, opened or closed their room door we could hear them. We were on the 22nd floor and could hear the people in the pool on the ground. You also hear all the traffic and ambulances that go by all night long. We had friends arrive the following day and were on the 27th floor and had the exact same issues and partying in their hallway til 3:45 in the morning of which the hotel did nothing to remedy. The last night there I was sitting in bed and had an ant crawl across my leg but couldn't find others. The hotel is outdated and seems nice from the lobby and meeting rooms but the actual rooms are a big and loud disappointment.

Heart of Atlanta

Enjoyed my stay at the Hilton in the heart of Atlanta. So close to Peachtree and all the restaurants and shops. Easy walk to the MARTA. Hotel staff very professional.

Poor Customer Service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted Jul 17, 2014
I had a terrible experience at the Atlanta Hilton hotel at 255 Courtland St NE Atlanta, GA 30303. On Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 12:40pm. Nonetheless, on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, I called the front desk to inquire about amenities and the lobby rep. was unpleasant and condescending. Secondly, on 7/16/14 at 12:40pm the dark skin, medium size young lady working at the valet booth was very disrespectful, rude, unprofessional and had the worst customer service skills ever. The other young lady working there that was a smaller build and lighter complexion wasn't rude at all. However, the dark skin young lady insisted on badly assisting me and it was the worst ten minutes of my life. I plan on returning to Atlanta for a week stay next month and initially I considered staying at this same hotel. Nevertheless, after experiencing the worst customer service ever with the young lady at the valet booth. I most definitely will NOT be staying at this hotel again or any other Hilton hotel. I was appalled and in disbelief with the young lady at valet conduct. Nevertheless, I was left to wonder was she providing community service at this Hilton hotel and really didn't want to be present; from her actions. I had to share this bizarre experience at the restaurant and airport. This was by far the worse southern hospitality ever! It's sad to say I'm a HHonors and I will be deactivating my account as well.

Close to downtown Atlanta. Very convenient

Cons: Hotel room needed fridge and microwave.
Great location! Perfect view of downtown Atlanta! I would stay here again. I would only like to see a fridge and microwave in the room. The only also charges $22.50 a night for parking and I felt that was a little too much.

We got an amazing deal on this room with Expedia!

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Clean, nice staff, great location, great restaurants...couldn't ask for more.
Location: It is in walking distance to so much. We were there for Americas Mart and could walk through skyways into adjacent buildings to get there.
Everything was perfect. We received a great deal on Expedia and were delighted to see we were in such an amazing hotel! The front desk could not have been any nicer. Excellent restaurants! Location better then expected.

Sky high view in downtown

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Staff was incredibly gracious throughout our stay. The view from the 22nd floor was gorgeous but there seemed to be a wind noise against metal pipes whistling through the night. Other than that we loved it!

At downtown Atlanta, near aquarium

Posted Jul 11, 2014
It's was a very bad experience, no fridge to keep milk for my kids or $25 extra charge, no self parking for my van, I had paid additional $34 for parking which 1/2 block from hotel. We stood at check-in counter, a male receptionist was on the phone for a long time & didn't aknowlege us. No microwave, $25 charge/night if needed.

Was there for one night but perfect for longer

Close to everything. Went to braves game coke world and centennial park. Reasonable overnight parking fee as everything else in the city was same price for just a couple hours
