Pros: Great front desk greeting and accommodation of our requests.
Cons: The black out curtains need to close completely.
Location: Not much near by
Were able to check in early...had asked about it on previous stay...we were just off of a 20 hour flight. Really made a difference and gave us peace of mind.

Smiles

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: See above.
Cons: Free parking would be nice.
Location: Close to airport.
What struck me was how warm and friendly the staff were. The front desk, the staff you pass in the hallways or elevator, all were quick with a smile and a friendly word. Not the "corporate memo remember to smile" variety, rather it seemed they were genuinely friendly people.

Pros: location close to airport.
We arrived early and the staff tried to accommodate us by an early check-in, unfortunately for us the hotel was sold out the night before so there were no rooms available. We hung out in the pool area for a few hours until our room was ready.

Close to airport & downtown but.....

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Close to airport. Friendly staff.
Cons: 1. For hotel guests that are staying in room don't charge for parking. 2. Get TV's (reception) that work. 3. Would like the option of renting a movie
Location: World of Coca Cola, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Andretti Indoor Carting & Games, Aquarium
Upon checking in staff was friendly & helpful. Beware the only parking is behind card access gate at $8 per day (probably wouldn't be a big deal had I known ahead of time) but for the rate of $154 night plus taxes you would think parking would be included for occupants especially since there were other hotels cheaper & more expensive where parking was not an add on. After unloading in room I promptly tripped over a very uneven floor. Guessing some sheeting underneath the carpet swelled at joint! Still doing ok at this point until I retire for the night. Turn on TV expecting to pay extortion to rent a movie (like all hotels) but all they have is limited cable service. Not to mention after approximately 1 HR TV randomly loses signal about every 15-20 seconds. I explained TV issue to front desk the following morning & supposedly lightning strikes in the area that night (sounded reasonable to me right?) The following night much earlier in the evening same scenario with TV after about 1 HR. I proceed to call front desk again & they again said lightning strikes-do they not know I have a window? I ask for another TV but none available & I am assured that weather will be much more conducive for TV viewing the following day. Keep in mind I am not a TV junkie just like to watch a movie before bed. Night 3 in hotel gets same dang results..weather has been sunny all day & stars are out tonight. for humor purposes I call front desk-you got it lightning in area. Wont be back!

Excellent hotel for a one night stopover.

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Firstly, the staff - they were just so friendly and helpful. Secondly, everything was as its should be in a well-run hotel. It was also good value.
Cons: Not much. Just inform the staff that, when providing info about the hotel airport shuttle, make it clear that it runs to & from the domestic terminal.
Location: I didn't really have a chance to look around. But the hotel is located in a pleasant green area.
I needed a hotel near the airport for a one night stopover en route from London to Belize. This turned out to be a very good choice. I can't really fault it. The only slight problem was that, when I phoned ahead to ask about the hotel airport shuttle, I was told to follow the signs for ground transportation and head for Zone 1 where the shuttle departs at 25 and 55 minutes past the hour. But the nice lady who provided this information forgot to mention that the shuttle goes from the domestic terminal. I arrived at the new international terminal (which is fabulous), and then had to transfer to the domestic terminal in order to pick up the hotel shuttle. In retrospect, it would have been easier and certainly quicker if I had just taken a taxi from the international terminal.

The Hilton is Awesome!!!

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: Staff.
Cons: Bigger pool?
Location: Near the airport. No other hotels were nearby that gave a nice, secluded feel. Restaurants were a short drive away.
There were so many things to love about the Hilton but first and foremost is the staff. The staff is outstanding (front counter, maintenance, gardeners, wait staff, every single person we encountered was a credit to the organization. The rooms were great. Well maintained, clean. The meals were lovely. The pool / spa / gym were all big hits with my family. The airport location was near everything we needed and far away from the more marginal areas of the city. I can't fault any aspect of the hotel. Lovely.
