“hotel clean, shuttle service is worthless”

“Good Choice”

I was in town for an event at Atlanta's Americasmart, and it worked well that there was a shuttle running. The Shuttle would also take you to restaurants within a 3 mile radius. The shuttle was a great amenity, but everyone uses it and their 30 min swing would often turn into 45 min or more. Even at that, the hotel was comfortable, the staff friendly, and I was quite satisfied.

Area recommendations

If you have your own transportation...Perimeter or Buckhead both have great hotels and eating establishments, but are close enough downtown yet far enough out to be convenient to a lot of the Atlanta area

“Staff Driving the Vans Have Great customer service”

If you need a cheaper place to stay for a few days then it is ok. You must rely on the van as you cannot walk as you must walk through a bad area. The hotel inside is not updated the rooms. You get what you pay for. However every staff person who drove the van were great, however the vans did not always run on ti,me due to traffic etc. Therefore I missed some educational sessions and did not get my CEU's which was the purpose of my trip.

I really enjoyed my stay. My only complaint is having to pay for parking.

Downtown Atlanta, Georgia is very nice. There is a little something for everyone, regardless of the age group.

“No frills but ok for the budget don't expect much in customer service though”

The hotel is located to the south of the downtown area but is about a 10 minute walk to the Marta. Also a shuttle service is provided to and from the hotel within a 3 mile radius. This part was great otherwise getting around would have been difficult without a car. The hotel room was comfortable and had all the basics. I was disappointed in the customer service though. I had requested a microwave for one day (there's a $10 charge for that) anyway after an hour it never arrived when I called again I was told it was coming up but never materialized. The hotel restuarant leaves a lot to be desired. I was in a hurry and it took them a 1/2 hour for some breakfast I had to walkout. Still keeping in mind the money I paid the hotel was still a good deal.

“Very nice hotel”

Very satisfied with the room. Clean, quiet, spacious, free wi-fi, friendly service. It's right across the street from the Braves stadium, but a couple of miles from the downtown area like CNN, Georgia Dome, Phillips Arena. They do have a shuttle that will take you downtown. The area surrounding the hotel is a little scary, but not terrible. They have secure onsite parking for $18 per night.

“not impressed”

Poor location for walking to see sites. Confined to one restruant unless you go out and fight the Atlanta traffic. No refreg./Miro in room. Very limited TV stations available. Poor quality of restruant food with high price.

“Relaxing and Calm”

I stayed there preparing for an interview. The staff was friendly, helpful and gave excellent advice to me. I would stay there again! By the way I got the job offer!
