“Can't wait to go back! Will bring my family next time.”

Check in and out was not a hassle at all! The personnel was friendly and professional. I will be back again. Just wish you had continental breakfast, but other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Area recommendations

Powers Ferry Road, because I was told by friends who live in this area that this was a choice area to live in. They have lived in other areas of Atlanta and other surrounding areas and found this one to be the better area.

“Will stay here next time I'm in Atlanta, GA”

This was a nice hotel. I like the location of it. It sits off of the "main" road, while it is near everything at the same time. I will stay there again.

“2011 Knife & Blade show trip”

Nice hotel. Clean. Comfortable. Affordable. Somewhat lacking in amenities - only had a bar of soap - but no big deal - wasn't expecting much. Much nicer than what I expected for the price - which was GREAT!

Area recommendations

The Marietta / Sandy Springs area is nice. The Homestead on Powers Ferry Road is quiet & easy to access.

“Good Location and Price, but Rather Filthy”

As the review title summarizes, the location and price were right, but the room was filthy. I enjoyed the room and the available amenities, but I would have liked to have a clean room when I arrived. I ended up killing 3 massive insects (not roaches) during my stay as well. The staff was very nice and helpful when needed, but you only receive housekeeping when you stay more than 7 nights. If you don't mind a dirty room, this hotel offers a decent value.

“Okay stay”

The overall stay of the hotel was okay. I was impressed by the kitchen facilities and comfort of the room. The only problems that I had were that the staff weren't really present and didn't explain what to do in case of an emergency, i.e. if the smoke alarm goes off, which aparently happens often with people cooking. Other than that, it's a nice family type hotel.

“Get what you pay for....”

Better off spending $20 more and getting a hotel that has shampoo in the bathroom and the floor isn't crunchy. Pretty disgusting place.

“Are you kidding me?”

This was a mini vacation for me and it gave me a chance to visit my daughter who just moved to Marietta,The holet staff was very unfriendly check in was horrible, the second day there i went to the desk to find out why my room was not cleaned the guy at the counter was on the phone ordering pizza gave me the 1 finger sign to hold on while he continued to place his order with his back turned towards me (really)? After standing there for almost 10 minutes he finally remembered me and ask me how can he help me?(wow) i ask why wasn't my room cleaned to be told that you get room service if your stay is more than 7days, but if you needed fresh towels just to come to the desk and drop off the used ones and they would provide me with fresh towels. ask me if i needed anything else and went back to making his order (unbelievable). No one said that to me in booking and nowhere while reserving this hotel it says that NO ROOM SERVICE WAS PROVIDED.If i saw that i certainely would not stay there, I was very disappointed with the service and staff..

“Pleasantly suprised.”

Very satisfied. People at the desk possess genuine Southern hospitality & generosity. Room was spacious, clean, uncluttered & quiet. Have stayed in other similarly priced hotels in the area, but this is the only one I would return to.

The stay was pleasurable, the only problems I had were there was no complimentary internet service, no swimming pool, and no oven.
