Great Location, Not So Great Customer Service

Posted Apr 19, 2014
Pros: Location, charming rooms, clean, easy parking
Cons: Customer service could be improved, especially when given a specific, reasonable request.
Location: Midtown Atlanta directly across the street from the Fox Theater; restaurants and Centennial Park were within walking distance.
I loved being able to walk to the play at the Fox Theater and go to restaurants without having to drive in traffic. The hotel was nice, the rooms were small but we had expected that. The room was very charming and clean. However, we were charged $20 for one extra person (total of 3 in a room with 2 double beds) and though we had 3 sets of towels, we only had 2 coffee cups. I called first thing in the morning and was promised another coffee cup and more coffee to be brought up immediately. We checked out of the hotel 3 hours later and the extra cup and coffee were never delivered. The desk clerk was very nice and apologized when we checked out but didn't offer to refund the $20 charge. We had been assured that customer service was above and beyond for this hotel, but we didn't experience it in our situation. I am very disappointed and will more than likely stay at the hotel next door the next time I attend a Fox event.

Affordable hotel near Fox Theater

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Located near Fox Theater. Hotel is comfortable with a bar on the main floor. There are restaurant options but you need to walk a few blocks before you get to the heart of Midtown. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating.

Multiple visits here

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Funky rooms, good price.
Cons: One thing- usually parking isn't a problem. This time, with _THE LION KING_ opening across the street, even the hotel's parking garage was full. ;(
I've been here multiple times on staycations. Great location; great staff.

Good hotel but understaffed.

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: We enjoyed the hotel itself. The staff was friendly.
Cons: Se note about being understaffed above.
Location: It's midtown Atlanta and you have a hard time finding a restaurant that has an entree` that cost less than $20.
The hotel is terribly understaffed. The front desk was staffed by one individual who also delivered towels, etc. There was no bell staff so you have to wrangle your own luggage. The staff park the hotel vehicles to block the area in front of the entrance so you can't pull your car up and unload. We had to park on the 8th floor of the parking garage (a separate building) and move our own luggage to the hotel and up to the 10th floor. Rather pricey for a "self-serve" hotel.

Hotel Indigo Atlanta Midtown

Posted Feb 16, 2014
Pros: Good location in the city.
Cons: Improve parking arrangements. Hold quest responsible for their pets.
Parking was a nightmare due to special event in the city, parking garage was filled to capacity and the attendant kept allowing more in the garage took over 30 minutes to park. Reserved a room with king size bed received a room with two twins, however after a trip back to the service desk error was quickly corrected. Hotel is pet friendly which has never posed a problem in the past, however someone on the same floor decided to leave their dog in the room alone for three hours so all the guest on our floor had the pleasure of listening to the constant whining and yelping. Hotel staff was friendly and tried to make our stay pleasurable, but the remodeling and other mention incidents put them at a considerable disadvantage,

Nothing special but nice enough.

Posted Feb 14, 2014
Pros: Proximity to work.Clean with friendly staff.
Cons: Room service would be nice.
Location: Right on Peachtree across from the Fox Theatre in the heart of midtown.
Chose this hotel because it is a block from the hospital I work at and I needed a place to ride out the ice storm. The room was clean and the beds comfortable.I could hear the conversations in the hallways and adjoining rooms.Fotunately I was exhausted and able to sleep through it.I will stay here again in similar circumstances.

Cons: Size of bathroom

The staff very helpful and knowledge of the area rooms clean, good bed with plenty of pillows. The rooms are on the small side but for one night this was ok. Across the street from the Fox Theater and any kind of restaurant yo could want.

Awesome lobby; tiniest bathroom ever!

Posted Jan 21, 2014
Pros: Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was delicious, & all of the people we spoke to were incredibly nice, and very informative. Nice view from our room.
Cons: Cleaner bathrooms, cleaner rooms, draining showers.
Location: We walked to an awesome Mexican place called Escorpio, and a hamburger/milkshake place called Varsity. MARTA was only a couple blocks away.
The hotel is beautiful on the outside, and the lobby is gorgeous! However, the room size was just so-so, with a couple of nice decor touches, but not quite as unique as I had hoped. The bathroom was incredibly tiny (I actually hit my head on the sink while standing up from the toilet), and the shower did not drain well, so you had a couple inches of nasty water by the time you got out. The second day, when our maid cleaned our room, she left the toilet seat and lid up, which just seems tacky to me.
