“Great Location!”

Just a couple of things missing. Overall had a great stay; the location cannot be beat, being attached via a promenade to Lenox Plaza. However, hard to believe that there was not a mini-bar in the room, nor was there wireless internet--seriously? In this day and age, no wireless internet??

“A hidden gem”

This hotel connects via walkway to the Lenox Square Mall. Also, the bellman will take you anywhere within a 2-mile radius of the hotel, at no charge, so I didn't drive my car the entire weekend I was there! It definitely saved me from driving in Atlanta traffic. The staff are wonderful, from housekeeping to the concierge, and were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

I would recommend Buckhead - it has the perfect combination of shopping and dining within a 5-mile radius. It combines the best elements of Atlanta.

Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza are 2 of the best malls in Atlanta. Best of all, you can walk to one of them from the other!

Dining

Atlanta Fish Market has a great menu of reasonably-priced seafood items, and has the coastal Georgia feel in the heart of the city.

Nightlife

For a low-key bar experience, try Whiskey Blue - the rooftop bar at the W Hotel. It has a great ambiance of music and atmosphere, but isn't the "meat markets" of traditional bars and clubs. A perfect place to grab a drink and unwind.

“Nice Hotel in Nice Area”

The hotel staff for the most part was very friendly (we did have someone drop off room service who was not warm or friendly). When we got to the hotel we were not able to check-in yet so they offered us the choice of getting breakfast (either sit down or to-go). The "sit-down" food available was a buffet with many options, but it was overpriced. There wasn't a menu so they charged you what they wanted. The hotel lobby was under construction so you didn't get the feel of staying at a JW Marriott hotel. You walked into an area with elevators & went to the second floor for check-in at a make-shift reception area. When entering/leaving the hotel you would go through a side door that houses elevators, you never go through a lobby or see any hotel staff . It would have been nice to have more of an upscale hotel feel, then more of a condo feel. There were no actual restaurants or bars. The late night room service menu does not offer much. There were four choices but none of them were snacks. They had either two sandwiches or two salads and when we ordered they only had salads left. Sometimes late at night when you haven't eaten for awhile you want a burger with fries or some chips/crackers and dip. They also don't serve any alcohol around midnight, despite the huge wine list available in the room service menu. The view from our room was great, with two huge windows that looked out onto Atlanta. I would possibly stay here again, just not when under construction.

“Atlanta Rude Hotel”

The lady at the reservation desk was extremely rude since they did not have 2 beds for the 3 of us and stated no rollaways either. It was stated that I would have 3 people when I called a few weeks prior to change the res to state 3. I had to get a room for my quest at a different hotel which was extremely inconvenient. Said they would call the room if room came available. How could they call the room when the phone didnt work?

“Will stay again”

Overall experience good. Unruly guest next door made one night a nightmare, but not hotel's fault. Problem taken care of once security got involved. Construction was a little annoying. Loud tapping/nailing above room made sleeping in late impossible. Concierge was not very helpful. Did not even look up from what he was doing to acknowledge me.

“CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK”

can't wait to go back. we like the fact that we didn't have to drive everywhere.the shuttle took us to and from the americamart.the hotel shuttle took us where we wanted to go within a 2 mile radius.we like the lenox mall was convient.

“great atlanta experience!”

Great price for a great hotel. Room was super clean. Loved location beside the lenox mall - felt very safe walking over by myself. Staff was super helpful.

“Very impressive in Buckhead”

We were very impressed with the service and people always there to help without wanting to charge extra fees. Getting the parking and breakfast package was a very good decision. Parking included valet parking which was very helpful as we had meetings every morning.

“Hotel least likley to locate!!”

This hotel is very very difficult to locate, lobby smelled musty and staff was somewhat flat... The breakfast buffet was the best part of the stay, very well prepared and great variety, fresh and good quality, Unless, you have business this place is just too hard to navigate and air in the room was hard to regulate and stuffy.
