“July 7, 2011”

Needed a quick place to stay due to illness in family and immediate surgery. Found this online and read all of reviews and thought it looked safe and reasonably priced. It did seem safe. It was reasonablly priced. The only concerns I had were that we went through a few seedy looking areas approaching the hotel, the hotel does not look like the picture I saw on the internet, upon check-in there were hairs on bathroom floor, bathtub, and sheets and the door key didn't seem to want to work right the entire time we were there. Other than that our stay was enjoyable. The continental brkfst was really nice. I recommend rolling luggage and coolers if you have it as they only have 2 trolley's and we waited 45 min. upon departure and ended up having to carry our luggage to the car ourselves, although the desk person did offer to help

“Foul smell, TV was lousy, Air Conditioner was not satisfactory”

The room had a foul stale cigar or cigarette smoke smell. The grout in the bathroom could have used a good cleaning. The television picture was horrible. Some of the channels didn't work at all. The audio had an intermittent annoying loud buzz. The screen was torn and hanging off the window. The thermostat had a motion detector. When we laid down to sleep the air conditioning went off and stayed off. It was miserably hot in the room. The only way to get it to come back on was to get up and walk around. When we got ready to leave, we were looking for an item that we were missing and found a half-eaten rotten apple under the edge of the bed. I guess that explains the other odor in the room. Tip: If you stay there in the summer, duct tape the blow dryer to the wall blowing directly into the thermostat. That seems to keep the temperature at the thermostat high enough (over 100 degrees Fahrenheit) to make the air conditioning come on.

“Just Fine”

Can't say much about this hotel, which I think is a good thing. The breakfast was uncommonly good, but everything else was just as one would expect from an affordable hotel. Nice staff, clean room, but nothing fancy. Good affordable option. Be prepared to drive 1-2 miles for quick food though.
