A very wonderful and welcome surprise once we got to our location. The hotel had been completely renovated and the pool, spa room contributed to us having an overall very wonderful experience. Since I was already familiar with the area and the convenience of location , having a nice hotel experience at the end of every night made the trip quite pleasurable.

For a moderately priced hotel everything was superb; couldn't ask for more. A major plus was the complimentary breakfast; I'd suggest more than one fruit choice!

We stay at this hotel every time we visit our Daughter and her family. We would not even think of changing locations.

“Clean and convenient...”

The hotel, grounds and room were very clean and nicely kept. For the price, it is about what you would expect. Nothing over the top, but not a shabby place either. The indoor pool looked small, but very inviting. We were in town for a funeral, so only needed a place to sleep and change. This hotel fit the bill. My only complaint was a phone call that we recieved from the front desk at about 10:30pm. The front desk told us that someone had complained about the noise from our room. After the desk person realized that he had woken us up, he admitted that he had dailed the wrong room. I chalked it up to an honest mistake and the desk person apologized to us in person the next morning. All in all, if you are in Snellville and need a clean hotel, this Laquinta is a good option.

“100% smoke free? Yeah right...”

The hotel boasts of being a "100% Smoke Free" hotel, which I was excited about. The hotel looked great upon entering, but as soon as the elevator doors opened to the 3rd floor, the cigarette odor was overwhelming. Hoping that our room would be better, we opened it to find the same horrid odor. The hotel was booked up and no other rooms were available despite the efforts of the kind desk clerk. The owner/manager was not as helpful, stating that it was a smoke free hotel and there had been no smoking, but he would spray deodorizer if we wanted (that would have made it smell worse). Apparently they switched to smoke free only 3 months ago and the 3rd floor was the smoker's floor. Nice hotel if you stay on the 2nd floor, but we weren't so fortunate!
