“Spring Break 2012 Family Trip”

The rooms were neat and comfortable as well as quiet. Our kids really enjoyed being able to watch the planes take off and land from the airport next door. The only problems I noticed was the willingness of the staff to answer questions was lacking. When asking for a recommendation for resturaunts or places to go sight seeing, we were always referred to broschures. Also, we found when we arrived home that we left an item. When we called back to check on it, we were told to call back later and then to call the next morning. Then we were told to fighre out how much it will cost us to have it mailed to us and send in a check. When I asked to leave a note to make sure they hold the item for us, we were again told to call back instead of the clerk taking a message and having someone call us. I too work at a hotel and this is simple customer curtacy. We to requre the postage be mailed in to us to return an item, but we go estamate the cost with the PO and call the customer back.

“Stayed there twice, reviews did not give it justice”

I searched for a hotel near the airport as I had an overnight layover. I saw the reviews of Motel 6 and was surprised, but noticed that the hotel had recently joined Motel 6. As I arrived at the airport, I made a reservation, and got instructions from the hotel on how to catch their shuttle. On the first and second visit, a few minutes later I arrived at the motel, and met an extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff. They even suggested a place to eat (with a discount) less than 1 block away. They were right, Malone's was a great bar and grill. The rooms I was in were clean, new furniture and carpets, and very comfortable. WiFi available excellent. Overall, I was very satisfied, and if I have to return through the Atlanta area and need to stay near the airport, I will quickly make my reservation with Motel 6 a go get a great night's sleep (plus excellent food nearby).

“Nice for the Price”

This hotel had a mini fridge & microwave in the room! Great for preparing your own meals to cut cost on your trip! Wish I could say the same for the Marriott Marquis that I stayed in the next night for the Annual Training Event for my Slumber Parties by D Swift business. That hotel cost me times as much as this one!! And I LOVED the FREE PARKING!!! The airport is close by. There are several fast food and other eateries/shops right across the street that we could go to. And the heart of Atlanta is just a short 15-20 minute drive away. My only "complaints" are: there are only 2 pillows on each bed (one for my hubby and one for me) and they go flat; they didn't have an iron/ironing board in the room.

“Worked out great for 11 hour layover”

My wife and I had an 11 hour layover at Hartsfield-Jackson on our wayback from Jamaica so we looked for an inexpensive place to basically get some sleep. The free shuttles o and from the airport made it an easy decision. I was actually quite suprised with the quality of the lobby when we arrived. Checking in was quick and painles, although they were about to give us a room with a double bed. I pointed out that my reseversations showed a king bed and the issue was quickly resolved. The room was satisfactory lean and the shuttle was right on time in the morning.

I thought for the price you can't do better. Friendly staff, clean room.

“Better than I thought”

I was initially worried, since the cost was so little. I left pleasantly surprised.

“Key 611”

Once I got my door open nice place to lay my head down. The key the front desk person gave did not open my door on the sixth floor twice.

“Good place, not free parking if you fly.”

Expedia wasn't very clear on the 'Free Parking'. It is just free if you are at the motel. It still was okay, only $5 per day. Good motel, and the staff was pleasant and helpful.

“Above average choice”

Customer service at the check in counter is excellent, polite and fast Suprised of no conventional breakfast was offered.
