Superconvenient place to stay!!!Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: elegance and convenience
My girls and I decided on a last minute "Hey, lets go to Atlanta and do the Walking Dead Filming Locations Road Trip." Not sure where and how long it will take us to see all that we wanted, I did not book for any place to stay before we left. And that's not me. Eventually finished our tour by 8:30 and while having dinner, we talked about going to see the World of Coke, CNN, Cartoon Network gift store (my girls insisted), that big Dome thing, the Centennial park and still be able to end the day at Six Flags- we have bought tickets and they're non refundable! Needless to say, although not always recommended, my late last minute booking here at Omni Hotel paid off and enabled us to actually see all these places and more. And after being sore from the trip, it was awesome to dive in the most comfortable luxurious beddings. And the view from our room was just splendid. All the staff were very courteous from valet parking, registration, concierge and house keeping. Check out was at 12N and our CNN tour was at 1220. Concierge offered a place for us to keep our baggages while we finished the tour. The whole experience was just awesome. My whole thing of not staying at downtown hotels changed after my stay here. And yes, we made it to Six Flags by 3pm.

Very nice hotelPosted Jul 18, 2014
I liked the location, the way the hotel felt and the way it looked. The staff was attentive and friendly. The 2 things that could use some improvement: The pillows were way too soft (for me)...I'm never comfortable when I sink into a pillow. The gym is old and does not match the brand that the Omni is attempting to present to us. But, hey...overall good hotel....would go back.

Urine Stained mattress coverPosted Jul 9, 2014
The hotel was beautiful. I was upgraded to the North Tower with a view of Centennial Park. Everything was great until checkout time. I pulled all of the bed liens off as normal when I checkout only to find a huge urine stain on the mattress pad! I reported it staff. I was told a supervisor will call you to apologize but never received a call.

Pros: Perfect location
Excellent, can't wait to return. Hotel service was great. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but they were ok.

Hotel in downtown Atlanta G.A. U.S.APosted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: Proximity to the main areas. Blackout curtains ( a Ferris wheel in the park opposite had flashing lights.) Courtesy of staff and general ambience
Cons: Rest rooms in public area could be a little it cleaner and maintained better. This seems to be the only hotel that doesn't offer a shuttle bus service
Location: Opposite the park which is the home of the World of a Coca Cola, a good couple of hours to spend in its museum. Aquarium nearby and two shopping malls
Attended a three day convention at the Congress Centre. The Omni at CNN was directly opposite so very easy to walk over to work. The hotel is a smart twin building in the CNN complex so it was fun to use the facilities there too. Room pleasantly large with the usual amenities, including a small refrigerator which helped with storing bottled water and fruit. Layout a little confusing eg the fitness centre was in the north tower and our room was in the south. Never did find it! Air conditioning a bit tempermental. Staff very helpful especially the hair salon Nelda 's - Neisha the manager is delightful. We felt very comfortable I this business hotel.
