Mid town location

Location was a major plus. Breakfast was crowded but very good.

So glad that you enjoyed our great location - we did have several days recently where our breakfast was very crowded. Typically we provide an alternative location in our meeting space if we anticipate a large group at once but were caught a little off guard with all of the spring break families!

Great Location!!!

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: I love the fact that it had continental breakfast and was in close proximity to downtown and major attractions!
Cons: Windows could be more sound proof!
Location: Terrific location! Close proximity to downtown, Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Morehouse, Spellman and Clark Atlanta colleges/universities.
The hotel was centrally located in Midtown. I enjoyed the fact that we were only a couple miles from downtown and the colleges we were visiting during spring break. It also was in great proximity to the Marta rail line. With the cost only being $2.50, we were able to ride to Lenox Mall, Atlantic Station, Underground and the Airport. The night life is amazing, great food and lounges all around! I would recommend this hotel! Although, it can be a little noisy at night, especially on the weekends.

Convenient location

Posted Apr 6, 2015
You will get charged an additional $18 per day parking and it is right parking if you don't have compact car. I've stayed in better placed for the price but location was convenient.

We are glad that you found our location convenient. While we do charge $18 for parking it is much more affordable than most hotels in our area and is gated with direct access to the hotel providing an extra value for our guests. We hope to see you again soon!

Decent well located hotel.

Posted Apr 3, 2015
Pros: Location next to MARTA.
Cons: If there was a way to add a restaurant or room service that would be nice.
Adequate for short stays but lack of restaurant or room service or other amenities would be inconvenient for long stays. Hotel looks like it has been renovated recently. Very clean.

Nice location in Atlanta

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Pleasant accommodating staff at a reasonable price in a great location
Cons: We didn't like the 8am "wake up" experience by house-keeping, as they went down the hallway and knocked on every door saying "housekeeping".
Overall, it was a nice hotel, for a reasonable price, in a great location. Aside from housekeeping coming by at 8am, knocking on all the doors saying "housekeeping" and vacuuming hallways at 8am, it was a very nice experience.

A Convenient Location in Midtown

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Good location.
Cons: A more contemporary decor and healthier food in the morning,
This hotel is alright. Nothing terribly fancy at all. Because the rooms are mini-apartment/suites, they are definitely spacious. The decor and furnishings are pretty run of the mill, but the hotel was clean. Maybe they'll spring for new carpets sometime soon. Large bathroom with a dressing area. The weakest link is the free breakfast - with so many good bakeries in Atlanta and a general awareness about healthy eating, I wonder why we they were serving packaged pastries with preservatives, high-fructose additives in the food and generally unhealthy stuff.

Used for an overnight stay after a concert.

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Convenient to most of the venues that Atlanta has to offer.
Cons: Finding a way to cut back on the amount of noise that gets through to the rooms.
Location: Is in midtown Atlanta. Is about 15 mins to both Georgia Dome and Phillips arena. There is MARTA access only a few blocks from the hotel as well.
The hotel was convenient in that it was close enough to our destination for convenience, yet far enough away that it was the most crowded. Room was spacious and clean. Walls seemed a little thin when it come to outside noise, but it wasn't so bad that we couldn't sleep. We definitely use in the future.

Anniversary Trip

Posted Feb 28, 2015
Pros: Clean throughout suite. Heated bathroom floor and great towels. Kitchenette. Comfortable bed and pillows. Pleasant décor. Adequate breakfast.
Cons: Parking inconvenience was a major issue. A vanity chair in the bathroom. Insulation from street noise.
Location: Fairly easy access to major highways; one way streets are a headache. Street noise made it impossible to get a good night's sleep.
A 3-day first time visit to Atlanta to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Due to wind and colder than normal temperatures walking was not an option. Parking at the hotel was an added expense and getting in and out was confusing. Regency Suites is a very nice midtown hotel and the suite was wonderful but because it is located on a major road fire engines and ambulances throughout the night kept us from getting a good night's sleep. Driving in Atlanta is a nightmare especially on the weekend. We allowed 30 minutes to reach one restaurant but instead sat in traffic or inched our way towards M&S for more than an hour and a half. Unable to reach our destination and keep our 8:00 reservation we found a way back to the hotel (GPS no help!) and ate leftovers at 10:15. So glad there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room.
