Gracious staff and comfortable

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Ambiance and staff professionalism
Cons: Noise level from the atrium.
Location: Situated near Cobb Galleria and Cumberland Mall is a big plus.
The easiness of the checkin experience was a plus for me as I arrived very close to the time of our seminar held in the facility. The hotel staff were extremely nice and above and beyond expectation. The room was very comfortable as well.

Elegant Hotel At An Affordable Price

Posted Aug 5, 2014
I recently stayed at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly and Convention Center for the 36th Annual Cantonian Club Gala. The hotel was very upscale, but affordable. Also, I enjoyed the hotel's proximity to the Cumberland Mall, in which I used the skywalk that yields easy access for shopping. Moreover, there is a specialty mall in the hotel. There are also the Jack and Jill Bar and Grill and other restaurants inside the mall and convention center. Actually, you really don't have to leave the hotel for very much! I would definitely lodge at this hotel again!

Great stay. A slight issue with noise at night. The room was great. Loved the pool and fitness center. I will stay here again next year for the same meeting. Great location in Atlanta.

Nice clean hotel

Posted Jun 30, 2014
When we arrived we had no wait time and got straight in our room. The hotel was very nice our room was clean. The only thing I didn't like was when I payed for my room I was expecting my bathroom to be differ being that's wat they display on the web with the huge tube. That was a big deal to me but wen we got in our room the tub was beyond small I went to front desk and asked y wasn't the bathroom like the pictures they advertise and she was like oh that's presidential bathroom witch is 1000 a night. But over all I will recommend just about anyone there it was a great experience

Enjoyed the stay

Our family would definitely stay there again, the beds were so comfortable, the room was spacious ( we have a family of 3) with 2 queen beds. However, there were only 3 towels in our room.

Disappointing!!

Posted Jun 10, 2014
I made advanced (PAID) reservations to stay at the Waverly for what I had hoped would be a great experience, however, when I arrived at the hotel, the hotel staff had given my room to someone else and they didn't have anymore rooms available! They sent me to another hotel 20 minutes away only to find out that they couldn't honor my accommodations. I went back to the Waverly and they offered me a room with NO AIR in June!! I refused to accept the room. After complaining at the front desk, the staff decided to send me to a hotel in Midtown (Renaissance Midtown...highly recommend). The manager told me that Renaissance would pay for my inconvenience on Friday, but the very next day, she pretended as if she didn't remember the conversation. After arguing with the manager and speaking with higher ranking staff, I was finally given the proper respect that ALL hotel guests should receive. I have vowed to NEVER return to the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel on Cobb Parkway. By the way,I ranked their room cleanliness although I didn't actually get to see the rooms. I'm assuming the rooms were clean because it appears tho be a nice establishment. The staff members were just disappointing.

Please accept our sincere apologies for your less than satisfactory experience at our hotel and the subsequent inconvenience of relocating to another hotel. We sincerely hope that you will give us another chance in the future when your travel plans include Atlanta.
