Outside betrays the Inside

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: The staff, cleanliness of hotel and rooms, and the overall feel of the hotel once inside.
Cons: If anything, the outside of the hotel could use a makeover. It is not terrible by any means, but it could be better.
Location: The location is near two malls and several restaurants, including Bahama Breeze directly across the street.
I was disappointed slightly when we pulled up to the hotel and it was ordinary looking. I was expecting a little more appeal, but that was quickly overlooked when my girlfriend and I walked into the hotel lobby. The inside was excellent. The lobby was very clean and exquisite looking. It did not look like a shoddy hotel that hired people only wanting a paycheck for showing up. The staff with whom I interacted with had great attitudes and professional demeanor. I was politely greeted and asked questions regarding my comfort and wanted needs. The elevator only allows other hotel guests to visit the different floors, adding a sense of security. The room was very clean and comfortable feeling. Shortly after arriving, I left to find something to eat and the security that drives the parking lot asked me, if I didn't mind, to turn off my GPS when I leave my vehicle. They stated that although they patrol the area, a thief could be attracted to the GPS and mark my car as a potential score. The security guard said they had made several passes around my vehicle alone to try and make sure this wasn't going to happen, but it would be better if I was safe and not sorry. I appreciated his suggestion and took the advice. The hotel has restaurants inside and the menu offered a delicious selection, unfortunately, I did not take advantage of the restaurant.

Extremely comfortable

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: Absolutely everything.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: It was in a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shopping. Medieval Times was nearby and it is awesome.
We just stayed at Sonesta one night while in Atlanta. Wow! I wish we could have stayed much longer. The decor was modern yet relaxed and the beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on. The pool area was immaculate and the breakfast buffet at Grapevine was delicious. The staff was very courteous as well. I honestly have nothing but good things to say about this place. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Nice comfy hotel

My experience was great! The hotel was a lil far from downtown Atlanta, but we enjoyed the driving around. In general we had a great time!

Beautiful hotel.

The general areas of the hotel, lobby, bar, parking, outside areas etc were super clean and beautiful! The staff was really nice. The only thing I would change was the room size. It was also clean and the bathroom beautiful too, only the size. We were four people and were a little short of space. The rest, just perfect!

Decent hotel

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Close to pappadeaux .. The deal price.. The room size..
Cons: Add at least a mini fridge & bathrobes..
Location: Location was more than 30 mins to downtown attractions.. Close to a seafood restaurant if you love seafood.. Know your budget .. ;p
The hotel was nice overall.. Smelled like fresh carpet was put down.. No major stink oders..Didn't see many security cameras.. Yikes.. The entry doors are suppose to lock after a certain time and you need your room key to enter..that didn't happen either.. No bathrobes, no fridge, no microwave...walls are thin... Nice size room .. King size bed was an actual king..lol slept well and comfy.. Room Appeared to be clean through out.. Hot water works!! ...no stains on the linen, towels, matress, or furniture which is always a plus!!.. A/C could've been colder.. Staff was pleasant.. Jermaine at the front desk had a warm welcoming smile, very polite.. Check in/check was a breeze.. Room service was ok.. Wings & fries nothing fancy..Overall good place for the deal on a 3 could be 4 star in the making hotel.. More than 30 mins from downtown attractions.. So don't get twisted unless your taking a cab or have a DD.. Close to pappadeaux seafood though.. I'd stay again..

long wait - nice recovery

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: hotel has nice facility, clean room, etc.
Cons: no room available at 5pm? without that voucher from front desk, i would say avoid this hotel. it shouldn't happen with a reservation
got there around 5pm from airport. 4pm is check-in time, but they told me room is not ready (even at 5pm?) i said any room type is o.k, but no room is available to check-in right away. we got there for a wedding at 6pm and i waited 1 1/2 hours on the line to get the rent car (terrible experience), so time is running out.... i said we can get into any room and just change clothing and leave. they can clean up room later on, but they couldn't let us in. i was not the only one - the one behind me also had same issue. did they assign room for each reservation already? after a tense interval (i can see they work/call here and there), they gave me a room - with voucher for breakfast for 2 days during our stay (nice guesture). otherwise, hotel was good - i had strong smell from clean up in the room.. a little but much...

Nice Hotel close by Restaurants

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Our hotel experience was awesome. Hotel staff was very friendly and our rooms were emmaculate. The only draw back was we had two babies and a toddler and there wasn't a fridge or microwave in our room...but will be back to stay again. We are even considering staying here for our family reunion next year which normally host about 200 people!
