“Never again”
Couldnt close room curtins, bathroom sink area was falling apart, could of gotten shocked trying to turn on the lamp by the bed, the switch was broken and pushed into the filter. People hanging out near the parking lot all hours of the night.
“Not what we expected...”
The neighboorhood did not seem too safe first of all, then we walked into what seemed to be a 50 year old facility where the only updates were card key doorknobs. Truth be told, we went for economy, and got what we paid for. Our feet were black from the dirty carpet, and the comforter smelled like an armpit. The remote control would not work the ancient TV and the shower knobs had to be gripped just right to control the water. We will not return here with my family of wife and two young daughters.
“Not impressed”
We were advised by police patrol "not to open our door for anyone".
“Too dirty for me!!!”
When we arrived to the room, there was a smell of urine and the bedspread had stains on it. The room floor was so unclean that I had to throw my socks away because they were so dirty. The bedspread was changed at our request. The staff was very accomidating and helpful...as much as they could be. The last night of the stay the smoke alarm went off in the room from 10:30pm until sunrise. It beeped every 15 seconds. No one in the room was smoking, we were asleep. When the front desk was notified, around 11pm, they sent security. I was told by security that he as there to "protect" me and he could not remove the alarm but, if I wanted to climb up in the chair, remove it and take it to the office and sign a waiver, I could so. Of course I refused. He left the room and we listened to the alarm until dawn. Breakfast in the lobby from 7am til 9am consisted of cereal and bagels, which we could not take back to the room. The back section of the hotel was longterm rentals and I am sure that this is a very helpful service to the community. But the daily rental section needs some very severe updating.
“Stay Away from this hotel!”
Stone Mt. Inn and Suites was totally unacceptable. Hotel personnel were not nice at all. The room was too nasty to even sit down, and most of the amenities that were listed in the profile such as microwave, etc. did not exist. I lost a good bit of money, but I was not about to make my kids stay anywhere that they did not feel safe. We checked out after 5 minutes with no refund.
“Dissapointed”
Stone mountains inn and suites was so horrible. First i called the hotel to ask what time check in was the guy say when ever you get here you can check in if you are here at 3am or 5pm it don't matter well we got there at 7:30am and the guy says check in is at 2pm so i was really mad because i just spent 20 hours in a car after arguing for a bit they let us check in. Next we get into the room it was so dirty and gross and smelled nasty. Then i went in the bathroom to look around and they leave a towel draped over the tub and they're was dirt all over it and the 2 towels that were folded had dirt on them too even the part that was folded inwards. There was dirt in the sink too. There rooms are so standard that they don't have a hair dryer an iron or a mini fridge we though they would have had the stuff there so i was very disappointed. Then the beds are so uncomfortable the middle of the bed sank in so far so you were not able to sleep flat, there clearly were no upgrades sense late 70s the outside was not bad pool was usable we will never use them again
