“Very Adequate”

We stayed here because we wanted to hike Stone Mountain and this was the closest hotel. It was a little creepy to be here off season as the hotel was nearly empty but once in our room we were fine. Nice and quiet and it was very adequate. Very nice setting and the hike to the top of the mountain was definitely a must do!

“Convenient and plenty of space”

Stone Mountain Inn is directly across the street from the main hub of the park so you can just walk across to everything. We also walked up the mountain - looks intimidating, but try it - takes about 20-30 mins. to walk up and only the last part is steep, but you've practically made it by then. Snow Mountain was OK, it was organized well, but for the money not enough tubing time, especially if there is an injury and they close the lanes which did happen to us. Seems like Stone Mtn. is more of a spring/summer place - a lot of attractions were closed, but we still enjoyed a long week-end there as a family. It is a beautiful place - very easy to get around.

Dining

Not too much choice this time of year at Stone Mountain, but right out of the main gate heading to the right there are many choices.

“Marriott Stone Mountain Inn”

We had a nice large room and it was especially nice to be within walking distance of everything! The best place to stay if you are staying in Stone Mtn.

“Stone Mtn Marriott”

We arrived early and took a chance at checking in early but the room was not ready. We left andt The Manager of Housekeeping over heard the conversation and she found us a room and had the desk clerk run out and stop us in the parking lot to tell us. Everything was wonderful after that

You can ride bicycles, hike, walk, the park is beautiful and everyone is friendly.

“Beautiful View”

Newly renovated very large rooms with a beautiful view of Stone Mountain. Only problems were sink & toilet were stopped up but maintenance took care of next day, house keeping didn't come 2nd day but tried to 3rd day, & the biggest problem was the room was very cold. I slept with close on and multiple blankets. I am generally a person who likes it very cold in a room but this was freezing. I was also unusually cold in Atlanta during my stay (2nd day high was 31 deg. F & low was 16 deg. F with wind chill at 1 deg. F).

Beautiful view of Stone Mountain carving and close access to all the parks features as it is right i the middle of the park.
