Possibly the very worst hotel I've experienced!

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: That we could leave as soon as the sun came up.
Cons: Everything!
Location: We did not see much, we drove to a college visit.
Where do I start...? Dirty towels, soiled comforters, no internet. We left without eating breakfast...we got scared of what they would feed us. Every thing about the room was monstrous! We HAD to sleep there only because we had no where else to go and we arrived there passed midnight :( Expedia should not charge us for this stay.

Convenient to Children's healthcare of Atlanta

Posted Jul 5, 2015
Convenient, quiet hotel, in downtown Decatur with plenty of food options around. We stayed before our son's surgery and had a great nights rest in a newly renovated king suite. Nice clean room and great amenities. We would go back!

Room stank of cigarette smoke

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Room stank like an ashtray. Went to see receptionist to see if another room was available. Was told that hotel was "booked up", which was untrue (parking lot was not full). Bugs in the bathroom.

Good for a Super 8

Posted May 29, 2015
Pros: Staff friendly. Motel within walking distance of center of town. Breakfast adequate for our needs.
Cons: Clean bathroom a little. Tighten bathroom sink fixtures (they were loose). Clean stain on bed blanket.
Location: Location excellent. Can walk into town. A lot of good eating in town. Cemetery in back - quiet. Semi-busy street in front, but not a lot of noise.
Check in was easy. Staff friendly. Room mostly clean. Bathroom floor a little dirty. Blanket on bed had a small stain. Parking ok. Breakfast more than expected. Waffles, cereal, yogurt, Orange juice, Apple Juice etc.

No frills motel in Decatur

Posted May 10, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness, amenities, working AC which was not loud so you could sleep.
Cons: Décor could be upgraded. It looked dated and worn.
Location: We liked that we were near the shops and restaurants in Decatur, GA. We frequented them and the historic cemetery behind the motel.
Super 8 is a no frills, basic motel in Decatur within walking distance to shops, restaurants. Prices are reasonable. Everything was very clean and in good working order. We had a coffee maker, a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. Toilet and bath/shower were in a separate room from the sink area which seemed new. There was a desk and office chair. A/C worked well and you can control the temp. They offer free WiFi. TV was new. There was also an iron and ironing board and hair dryer. Continental breakfast is offered daily. I only had the coffee but it was tasty. Owners allowed you to print your boarding pass for upcoming flight in their office. My relatives stayed on a lower floor(basement) but there was an elevator to get there. The lower level rooms(singles) were just as clean and neat with the same amenities. The downside was the re-asphalting of the parking lot on the days we were there and that made entering and exiting and pick up from a car difficult. Also the smell wafted into the rooms. However, now they have a decent looking parking lot. My husband and I stayed two nights.

Ok for a 1 night stop

Posted May 10, 2015
The bed was comfortable. The room was mostly clean - I found a hair in the shower. I may be too particular but I think the bathroom should be completely hair-free. The breakfast is in a very small area. People were bumping into each other. There were only a few places to sit and no food is permitted outside that area. Food offering include bread for toast (no butter, only grape jelly), frosted flakes or raisin bran, muffins, and self-made waffles.

Günstiges Hotel in Decatur

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Preis, Erreichbarkeit
Punkt. ...
