Theater trip great location

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Mini fridge in all rooms
Location: Great location... Across from theater and walking distance to many restaurants
Love everything about this hotel...from the valet service to the doormen, checkin desk, concierge, bell service, housekeeping and more. The rooms are very large and comfortable. Ordered a room service breakfast....DELISH!! Would definitely stay again when visiting Atlanta!!

Great stay

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Everything, though I'd loved to have gotten to try one of their renovated rooms.
Cons: Only one thing I think could be improved and the hotel is already working on it.
Location: There is great food on property and within walking distance. The FOX Theater is across the street. It's only about a mile from plenty of shopping also
The hotel was fabulous. We were in one of their un-renovated rooms though and it was certainly dated, but very comfortable and made for a nice stay. Room service was impeccable and provided by the Livingston restaurant on property. I think they honestly have the best turkey club I've ever had and their breakfast was fast and delicious. The staff was all helpful and friendly as well.

Gorgeous historic hotel in good location.

Very clean hotel-beds are very comfortable. There are only 2 elevators and it seems we have to wait for them forever. The suites have a nice kitchen but not one plate or utensil.

Recent Stay in Atlanta

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: The location is good, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant and bar are very nicely done.
Cons: The rooms need a little updating and need to be brought up to the standards of the lobby and restaurant areas.
Location: It is directly across the street from the Fox Theatre, and a $ 10.00 cab ride from the busy part of Peachtree Street.
I have stayed in The Georgian Terrace probably 10-15 times over the years. It is a very nice hotel in a good location, but is starting to show it's age a little. While the lobby area and restaurants are very modern and nice, the rooms are getting a little worn. This time I had a small room for the first time, where I usually get a suite. The clock in the room was the wrong time and wouldn't adjust, the time on the television was also wrong, and different from the clock, so small things but aggravating. There were vending machines on only two floors (#2 & #10) and they wouldn't accept my dollar bills, requiring a trip to the lobby for change. The staff are nice and the concierge is a charming man that has worked there for many years. It needs some work but overall remains a nice hotel.

Overall good experience. Great location and staff. A bit of a problem with parking because they overbooked the lot with people going to matinee at Fox and we were trying to get in and have brunch at the Livingston which, turns out we would have been better off missing. Got there at 2:00 and food was picked over, biscuits were hard as a rock and price was $20 each
