“excellent hotel”

Highland Inn is a wonderful old midtown hotel located at the heart of Virginia Highlands area. Easy access to numerous restaurants, Variety Playhouse and other music venues.

“Cozy and fulfilled its purpose”

I needed a place to stay for an evening and it was the perfect spot. Service was great and the people were very friendly. I didn't have a car and it was conveniently between public transportation. There were several options for dinner and a place to go for drinks and a good time. The room was big and comfortable, although the sink was weirdly placed and bathroom was small, it wasn't an issue at all! Internet access and lots of information about the area.

“Interesting old building, great location!”

I was very happy to stay at the Highland Inn - delighted with the location and pleased with the on-site parking. It's an old building - sloping floors and non-modern bathroom, but the room was amply sized and the bed comfortable. My one note of caution - bring your own amenities - lotions and such, as those provided were not copious. There's a nice coffee shop less than a block away.

“Unique and charming”

Traveling alone I had an unexpected layover at the Atlanta Airport. This hotel was the least expensive and the reviews were good. I was not disappointed. The reception welcomed me so enthusiastically and got me settled in a private secluded room for some desparately needed sleep. For dinner I went to a delicious soul food vegan spot next door. The hotel is clean and just has a good vibe. Would definitely go back.

“Super charming! Can't wait to go back!”

Check in and check out were easy. Clean rooms. Nice Location. 10 minute walk to little five points. The Ballroom Lounge downstairs was pretty cool. Great place to stay for young people just visiting for a night to see a show or something. Real simple. Definitely will go back.

“my favorite hotel!”

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times now...and I love it! This was the smallest room, thus far, but I will still book this hotel anytime I'm going to ATL. My bf and I are actually thinking about moving to the apartments across the street.

“Local flavor”

This is the perfect example of what virgina highland is all about. If one wants to be right in the center of this area of Atl they will be very pleased. The hotel is an old, cozy homelike setting with a great ,easygoing staff that was always happy to answer questions. I will always stay here when I go up to visit my son.I used to live in Atl and always wanted to stay there. I was not disapointed !!
