The pool is a hidden paradise.Posted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: Gorgeous swimming pool.
Cons: Access to the pool and fitness center is convoluted.
Location: Right in the heart of downtown, this hotel is a landmark, with it's circular design, and huge lit-up marquee. A 4 block walk to Centennial Park.
I'll admit, it took me a while to find the swimming pool. It was tucked away on a covered rooftop that I had to take two separate elevators to get to. But once there, it looked like a scene from Miami Vice. It was beautiful, and luxurious. Aesthetically, one of the best swimming pools I've ever been to in Atlanta.

The arrival was disorganized. Valet was terrible. Waited over 25 minutes for car. Hotel room had a nice view and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was extremely small. Description of room stated a rob and slippers was not in room but it read as if it would be in the room. Shower was dirty. Double charged for bottled water, called to have someone contact me for credit and never received a call back. No credit to my account. Expected so much better for the cost of this room.

Noisy room.Posted Feb 9, 2014
Pros: The view from the room.
Cons: Phonic isolation elevator engines room.
First room was on the 17 th floor . Constructions were going on at 11.30 pm and it was very noisy. They gave me another room on the 48th floor. Unfortunately , every 2 min. I could hear the elevators going up and down.

Good hotel for business travelersPosted Feb 4, 2014
Pros: Location and views, especially from the restaurant/bar on the 73d floor.
Cons: Clearer indication of which elevators serve which floors (lobby area is not that well-lit) or just make all the elevators serve all the floors.
Location: One block from Centennial Olympic Plaza, three blocks from the Georgia World Congress Center.
Check-in was pretty easy. elevators are a little annoying - not all go to the floor you need to reach, so you sometimes have to go down to the lobby (on the 5th floor) to go back up to your destination. But rooms are clean and well-appointed with nice views.

Great location for downtownPosted Feb 2, 2014
Arrive a little before check in time. Asked staff for a city view room and was put onto the 59th floor with no problems or extra charges. Kids love it

Excellent stay at the PeachtreePosted Jan 4, 2014
Pros: The Floor to ceiling glass WALL over-looking the city!
Cons: Parking garage is next to hotel but is independent. Make sure you have singles to deposit if no attendant present. We received no change.
Location: Short walk to Georgia Aquarium Coke museum & restaurants. Be prepared for the weather (walking shoes, rain coat, umbrella, warm clothes)
We had a wonderful stay at the Peachtree. Staff was very helpful and informative from valet to check-in clerk. Renovations were being done in lobby but once out of lobby we did not hear any construction noise.
