Nicest hotel on the boardwalkPosted Oct 21, 2014
If you have to go to AC and want to stay on the boardwalk, ballys is probably your best choice. Room was clean and modern, the staff was courteous and the casino looked nice as well. I only paid 45 for a Sunday night so you can't really beat that price.

You'll see me again!Posted Oct 18, 2014
I have stayed at many Atlantic City Hotels before, but I was very impressed with Ballys. It was reasonably priced (booked through Expedia one month ahead), very clean & comfortable. I will surely stay here again!

Lovely appointed room within the casino.Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: On the boardwalk with adjacent parking. Easy access to casino.
Cons: Please fix the room locks.
Location: Just stayed for one night. Was rainy, so didn't venture out much.
The room was lovely; however, the 2 safety locks on the inside door of the room were not operational. The upper bar that you flip to the right to secure the door was missing screws, rendering it inoperable; it was just flopping around. Also, the other lower dead bolt type lock was broken and didn't work at all. Other than that, it was lovely. Very comfortable bed, nice furnishings, very clean.

No staff to ask questions. Not informative.Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: Good location. a lot of restaurants. Quite, no smoking rooms. Easy access.
Cons: Friendlier people. We had a large room, great bed. A table with two chairs. Could of had some comfortable chairs or sofa.
Location: Good location, lots of walking on the Boardwalk. Visit other Casinos. View of the Atlantic Ocean.
It was nice. Not real friendly. Had a hard time understanding most of the staff.

Good room for the pricePosted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: I like the room prices, overall location, and access to the gaming areas. Also, there are many places to eat, shop, play and walk.
Cons: The elevators seem to be making some strange noises - the upgrade not only fixing is needed. Also, the room interior/decorum could be upgraded.
Location: If you need to see some other casinos, let's say Borgata or Golden Nugget - Jitney is a very affordable transportation that locals use.
I stayed in Bally's for 4 nights. The room was a bit outdated (the top of the line 80's decorum and furniture :). However, the bed was comfortable and the service was good. I had my change of towels and clean up done every day. Bally's is conveniently located around the "gaming areas" of Wild Wild West, Caesar's and Bally's casinos, so if gaming is all you want, you can stay there the whole time. Also, there are 2 new restaurants on the 6th floor of Ballys' worth trying. For those of you who like shopping there are stores and outlets within the walking distance. And there is a beach as well.
