Excellent all around. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We go back every year and don't have a desire to stay anywhere else.

Good Choice of Hotel for this Location

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Location and size of room
Cons: In room details of hotel facilities and things to do nearby would be useful; this is partially provided on the TV system but doesn't give much detail
Location: Directly on the boardwalk, shopping and beach very close by
I stayed 4 nights in this hotel July/August 2014. I arrived quite late and there were no rooms of the type I had booked left so I was upgraded to the next level of room. My room was lovely and clean, large and had a very large bathroom and shower. I had a side view of the ocean which was very pleasant. The hotel is directly on the boardwalk, with access to the pier shopping mall which contains some high end shops as well as some eating places and some more generic shops. The beach is easily accessed. There didn't appear to be any facilities on the beach (e.g. chair, umbrella, lounger hire) directly belonging to the hotel but there are facilities (at a cost) from neighbouring hotels. I didn't have much interaction with hotel staff, but those I did were pleasant and helpful. In a large hotel like this, where the emphasis is on the casino there is not the personal touch that you might find in smaller hotels but this was still a nice place to stay due to the size of the room and the cleanliness of the room and all public areas.

Not a pleasant place

Posted Aug 8, 2014
At first i was given a room with two beds when I had booked a room with a king bed. Then on the way to the room the hallways smelled. When I got to the room I found out that it had a tiny window whose view was some tables to a restaurant inside the hotel. The I needed to warm up something and found out that the room had no microwave. Went down stairs and the staff charged me a dollar for hot water. To top it all off the rooms curtains didn't make the room any dark. I need darkness to sleep so I had a rough night trying to stay asleep. In short not a pleasant place.

You have to pay for everything

Posted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: The room was big.
Cons: Service, staff friendliness, elavators and come on when I pay for a room I expect to at least be able to use the pool for free.
When I booked, it said free breakfast. Turns out free breakfast equals 9$ rebate per person and there's no way you can get anything for 9 $. We went for the cheapest option possible, total cost 36$ for 2 . And it's not like it's any gourmet breakfast either, everything was pretty bland, the potatoes where the frozen kind you buy at the supermarket and we left still feeling hungry. So basically with the rebate it cost us 15 $ so we would of been better off going to Denny's and having a real breakfast. Finally when we checked out, after complaining about breakfast the lady at the front desk was nice enought to cancel the breakfast charge (we asked 2 other staff member prior to that for the free breakfast and they refused to give it to us) You also have to pay 13 $ per day for wifi access, you have to pay to go to the pool even if you're staying at the hotel, the parking is 5 $ but we had to fight for that too, upon exiting we were asked to pay 50 $, we were asked if we stayed at the hotel, then asked for the name and room number wich we provided but she said there was no record of us staying in that room and kept saying 50 $, I finally had to search my luggage for my hotel receipt (which I usually throw away) in order to pay 5$. In the elevators you need to slide your key card in order to be able to press your floor number, if you're the last one to do so and miss your floor you have to go all the way up and wait for it to go down and up again to your floor, very time consuming

Ehhh

The pool is too small, a bit disappointing, on top Of that, they charge 5$ a person to use the pool. I don't think I should have to pay to use the pool at the hotel that I am staying at. Especially when the pool is so small that the pool max capacity is 17people.

Good experience. The buffet was very expensive, but the food wasn't worth that much.

Great Caesars Palace Birthday trip!

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: restaurants...nightlife...ambiance and the casino.
Cons: elevators could be updated ....room could be a bit better...wasnt fond of the view i guess next time well book so that we can see the water.
My wife and i came to Caesars for her 30th birthday and it was a great experience...we enjoyed the boardwalk and were impressed at how clean everything was especially after the hurricane last year. The only aspect of the hotel that seemed a bit run down were the elevators...but everything else seemed fine...we enjoyed the shops and casino and took advantage of the great restaurants in house and as well as on the boardwalk itself. the friendly staff also pointed us towards some great night life were we partied the night away all night long....we will be heading back some time for sure! Atlantic city is so much fun and for us Canadians its just a drive away which is a little cheaper than Vegas...we enjoyed are stay very much...see you next time!!
