Great location but overpriced.Posted Aug 29, 2014
Everyone was very friendly. The elevator was small. Corridor was dreary. Room has not been updated in decades. Restaurant attached to hotel was very nice. Maybe we were spoiled by a recent visit to Las Vegas where the room was spacious with a beautiful view and cost less than this room.

Stay far away from this hotel!!!Posted Aug 27, 2014
While staying in this hotel my family n I were sleeping somebody tried breaking into our room through our window he was halfway in! My husband woke up started screaming at the guy n he went away! We called the front desk n they came up n said it was our neighbor trying to get in his room! This took place at 3am! We checked out n went home! I called the hotel the next day n they blamed us!! They said we unlocked the window! The guy was just trying to get in his room! Mind u we were on the second floor! Who knows if the hotel was part of this whole thing! They were nasty about the whole thing! We did not call the police because we just wanted to get the heck out of that hell whole!

Hotel and location are great. Staff is TERRIBLE.Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Big bed, air conditioning, on the boardwalk, close to casinos
Cons: The staff needs to learn more about hospitality...they should also notify people of possible charges. The sign on your desk means nothing to me.
Location: The hotel is right on the boardwalk and in close walking distance to food and casinos.
My fiancee and I checked into the hotel around 1 am or so. It was a last minute trip. While checking in our friend was standing with us (who was staying at a different hotel). We checked in with no issues and all went upstairs. Our room was nice, spacious, and even had a balcony with an ocean view. We threw our stuff in the room and then went back downstairs to leave for the casino. When we came back at 4am it was just myself and my fiancee...since our friend had his OWN hotel to stay at. Our sleep was iffy in the room...loud noises...trucks backing in...people shouting at 7am...I guess you can expect that in AC. When we went down to check out around noon...I was charged an additional amount for an "extra person" charge...When we asked what the charge was for the staff told us we had a 3rd person with us. The person who walked with us up to our room and then left with us...but did not come back with us?! Just a very sketchy/shady thing to do. Especially since when we checked in NO ONE notified us or questioned us. We had already paid $175 for the room that we stayed in for less than 10 hours...you'd think they would know something about hospitality since that's the field they're in. It definitely put a damper on our moods for the rest of the day which is sad because it was our first trip to AC.

Very disappointed in cleanliness of room. Sheets and towels had stains on them and trash was found under beds in room!

Expected more for $350 per nightPosted Aug 18, 2014
Cons: Hotel was old, out of date with old green carpet, out of date decor
One of the worst hotels I have stayed at in years. I haven't stayed in an Atlantic City Hotel, but expected a clean up to date hotel for the money.

Poorlymaintained. No amenities.Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Close to boardwalk. Country Kitchen was excellent. Probably not run by the hotel.
Cons: All of the above
Location: Excellent beach access.
Staff was very nice. Closet doors did not open. No coffee no refrig. Furniture was falling apart. Why does the Days Inn have to have towels that could substitute for SANDPAPER?

A room by the boardwalk and beach.Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly, it was close to everything and the place was secure.
Cons: The hot water in the sink took awhile to warm up; need to upgrade the quality of bath linen; and need to provide extra blanket in the room.
Location: Boardwalk is right there and there was an entrance to the beach right there. Close to shops and restaurants.
When I first got there it was a bit of a challenge finding the place. From the boardwalk there was no signage identifying the hotel and I walked past it. I had to ask a security person and they weren't even sure. After walking off the boardwalk I found the entrance to the hotel. The check in process was a breeze. The person who checked me in was very nice and professional. When I saw the room I was disappointed, especially paying the rate I paid. Although I had a balcony it was not facing the ocean. My direct view was the building across the street. The "Oceanfront" view was from the side. The bathroom could use some updates. Overall, the room provided me with what I needed for a weekend retreat: a bed, table & chair, shower, a place to store my stuff and it was secure.
