disappointed

Posted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: Location, Hot water, Free parking
Cons: see above
Location: Next to Trop for easy access for gambling/entertainment. Within walking distance to Boardwalk Hall
The location and free parking were the only positives I could find. There was a HORRIBLE odor similar to dirty diapers on our entire floor. Linen smelled very musty. The ice machines were empty. Staff very indifferent to questions. My car had area of cracked molding after they parked it and denied any action on their part.

Fantastic staff, super clean, just needs updating

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Super friendly staff, cleanliness.
Cons: The rooms appear to have been semi-updated. The one we stayed in just needs new, matching furniture, and maybe some fresh carpet.
Location: On the Boardwalk, next to a restaraunt and the Tropicana casino.
The staff at the Days Inn was fantastic--even the valets. Over the top friendly. The facility was extra clean, just needs updating. There was even a view of the ocean from the 3rd floor. But beware--it is right next to the Tropicana Hotel and it is difficult to sleep--people yelling, horns honking ALL night. Be sure to get a room on the OTHER side!!!!!

Business and Pleasure

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Affordable, valet parking, proximity to Tropicana Casino
Cons: Sound proof the rooms, the walls are too thin.
Location: Boardwalk and beach right outside the hotel. Tropicana Casino Hotel right across the walkway.
Arrive at hotel and greeted by valet parking, very pleasant welcome. Front Desk staff was friendly. We decided to upgrade to a room with a view of the beach and boardwalk. Paying the extra charges was worth it! Even though it was cool out, we went out on the balcony and enjoyed the view. Room was a manageable size and very clean. No smells of any kind, such as smoking, staleness, etc. Bathroom was small, one sink, one person at a time. Tropicana Casino right across from hotel, extremely convenient. Had dinner there at a buffet restaurant which was really very good with a good variety of tasty food including seafood. Although the walls were thin and you could hear loud talking next door, thank goodness they were quiet the rest of the night. Pleasant Experience overall. For an overnight stay, I would go back.

Noisiest hotel at AC

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Location
Walls are paper thin. You hear every noise on the floor. Toilet was broken and staff didn't seem to be concerned in the least.

Cheap room in every way

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Stayed one night. Couldn't beat the price. Half of what the tropicana wanted for a one night stay Saturday to Sunday. Room was fairly clean. Considering my wife and I spent about 30 mins in the room other than to sleep. Walked out of this hotel right into one of the lobbies of the Trop. It was quiet noisy in our room. VERY thin walls. Neighbors were rather loud with their extra curricular activities. Which was pretty annoying... I'd have to think long and hard about staying in this hotel again. The cheap price and proximity to the tropicana is pretty much the only pluses I can think of.
