“Good Place to stay for cheap.”

We were going to a concert at the House of Blues, this hotel was inexpensive and close to everything we wanted to do.

“Close to Tropicana on a lil budget”

Breakfast only consisted of bagels and tea served way too early, but this is the closest hotel to the Tropicana. We had four people in a room w/ two double beds and rollaway....Not bad at all.

Getting around

There was plenty of shopping on Atlantic avenue.

Nightlife

Club 40/40 was cold, the drinks were overpriced and they only served finger food. Although security was friendly, I would not go back unless they were having a major event. The overall look of the club was nice. Not to mention the DJ sucked!

“great time weekend”

check in was fast n easy. the service was cool n the room was comfy enuf. we had an end room so it was very private..the location is fabulous everything we needed was close by...i would room there again..n the price was rite for my budget

we attended the comedy festival that saturday it was about 3-4 blks from our room..we walked the boardwalk to get there very convenient

the 1st nite we arrived we headed straight to the boardwalk/beach i love the beach @ nite the boardwalk does'nt sleep so it's plenty to do @ nite

“It was okay but...”

For the price it was a decent room. I just don't recommend staying here if you are on a family trip. The neighborhood is a bit seedy, we were on the ground floor and could see prostitutes from our window. Around 3am there was a party going on with a bunch of drunken 20 something women in the parking lot making huge amounts of noise. I called the front desk and they did end up going back in their room. But overall the room was clean, no bed bugs, the AC worked and its a block from the beach and boardwalk.

Area recommendations

stay closer to the main casino area like bally's and caesars.

Getting around

It's easy to walk in the summer time but the Jitney will get you where you have to go.

“Better than expected”

Have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the econolodge! The room was fairly clean. I honestly expected worse! It is in a great location right next to the tropicana and the beach for a reasonable price. For being on a busy road it was pretty quiet as well. I would recommend and stay there again.

“Great Deal!!!”

This place was a great bargain. It's right next to the Tropicana and only a block off the boardwalk. The room and linens were very clean and the place was decently taken care of. Remember it's a more budget-oriented place, so it's very basic, but overall it was clean and that's what matters the most to me.

Area recommendations

I'd recommend the boardwalk, beach and outlets in AC. Aside from that, the wrong neighborhoods can get a little sketchy.

“"We going Back 100%"”

Everything about the experience was awesome. Clean room, friendly staff, parking and close to surrounding hotels which you can walk to for the nightilfe. I definitely will go back to stay and at the same time save hundreds of dollars compared to what you would pay at these other ripoff hotels. Will Norwalk, CT

“Dirty and Loud”

The room was located next to the laudry room and parking lot. A big laundry cart was in front of our door with old sheets and things in it. The parking lot was bright and loud with people all night. The bathroom had hairs on the sink, and the toliet had an old metal foot pedal. I felt like I was at a McDonalds.

Area recommendations

Stay in the Marina area, there's less noise and hookers.

“Noise! and a greasy carpet to boot.”

We were in A.C. to deal with a death in the family. The room had greasy carpet. Trash trucks ran at 12:30am and 4:30am. They were beside the hotel banging and clanging. Delivery trucks and cabs honking their horns all night. No sleep at all for us during this trying time. I will never go back.
