Horrible place!

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: See my comments above
The hotel was not as it appears to be as it is in the pictures. There were holes in the walls, filthy carpet, toilet ran constantly and the office had to buzz me in so I could check-in. It was the middle of the day and to have to get buzzed in did not make me feel safe at all. There was a dresser sitting outside of a room at the top of the stairs and was there all weekend long... not sure why it wasn't in the room or at least placed in a storage room. If I could have afforded it I would have checked into a Holiday Inn down the street. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Nice

Pros: Clean room, jacuzzi, bathroom. Amazing paintings on the walls.
Cons: There were no tissues in the bathroom and the fridge did not appear to be working. I did not try the microwave so I can't say if that was working.
Location: Absecon Lighthouse is awesome! Can't turn left coming out of hotel so have to drive down the road a ways to turn around.
We stayed here for a wedding. When we got there, we asked about upgrading our room. We were able to do that for a decent price. I would definately stay here again.

Do not stay here...Not worth it.

Pros: Distance to Atlantic City Casinos and Outlets
It was one of the worst hotel rooms that I have ever stayed at in my life. When we (My husband and I) reserved the room on experida.com, we requested a non-smoking room. However, once we arrived and entered the room, it smelled like a smoking lounge (and that it putting it mildly). The stench of cigarette and cigar smoke was evident throughout the room and bathroom. When my husband (attempted) to use the shower/bath, brown water came out for minutes. Then when I attempted to take a shower in the morning, brown water (again) came out of the faucet. The mattress in the room was horrific- there was absolutely no padding on it and all that we could feel were the springs. Quite frankly, I am surprised we were able to sleep through the night. I would not have been surprised if the mattress was 12 years old. I only booked this hotel because of the name brand and my previous experiences in Econolodges in Albany, NY and Parispanny, NJ. But after this experience, I (and my husband) will think twice about booking at another Econolodge.

Great Jacuzzi!

Posted Jan 13, 2014
Pros: Jacuzzi, Jacuzzi, Jacuzzi!
Cons: It would be nice that when the hotel staff knows that you are coming, to make sure the heat/air is on and making the room more comfortable.
Location: Close to stores, places to eat
I booked a smoking room by mistake but thankfully, it did not smell like smoke. The room was freezing and took a while to heat up. The bathroom sinks were pretty low to the ground. The bed was very uncomfortable but the Jacuzzi more than made up for anything bad about this place. There was awesome artwork on the walls but there were some statues that freaked me out a little. We were pretty close to stores and other hotels. The continental breakfast was nothing but stale cereal. But once again, the Jacuzzi more than made up for everything bad about this place.
