Big spacious room

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Walked into the room and there was a terrible lingering smell. The comforters smelled like they have not been washed in a while. Otherwise The room was old but okay. Bathroom needs to be upgraded! Just the smell was bad! I only was there for 1 night and at 10 am someone was knocking at door and when I answered the female, who never identified herself ask what time I would be out of the room. Checkout was at 11 am and that has never happened to me ever. Called the front desk and they didn't know either. It was most likely someone from housekeeping but they should of identified themselves. Lastly if you parked inside the garage there was a $9 fee. I would not recommend to anyone in the future. The hotel needs an upgrade to it's rooms.

Nothing special

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Well, nothing special. I ended up spending $350 for a Saturday in August- not by choice, all the casinos were fully booked. The staff were nice and the room was clean, but that's pretty much it.

Do AC with a view.

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Upon arrival we received a free upgrade in rooms. We were originally only staying one night but decided to extend. The views from our balcony were amazing. The gym was small but never crowded so no biggie. The restaurant also had great views. There was also a game/ arcade room with skee ball air hockey and pool tables. The studio suite we stayed in was the size of a one bedroom apartment. It had a full kitchen along wish plates and pots. Even wine glasses!!! Anytime we asked the staff a question they were so welcoming and friendly. The furniture in the room was a bit old fashion for a luxury hotel, but in good condition and CLEAN. I will definitely return.

Good if you know what to expect

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: room & view, friendly staff & guests
Cons: elevators, restaurant service
Location: fishing. historic lighthouse. 6 blocks from boardwalk. about 1 mile from nearest casino that is not closing very soon.
Gorgeous, spacious 1 bedroom suite with large balcony and ocean view (that was part of the deal we took). Comfortable furniture, 2 bathrooms (low water pressure), well supplied kitchenette. No boardwalk access - Sandy washed it away Roads and sidewalks in the neighborhood are in poor condition for a scooter or wheelchair - If you have mobility issues, drive to a casino and park for $5 to access the boardwalk. Restaurant - excellent food, terrible service. Friendly staff outside the restaurant. Not enough handicapped parking spaces, but there are nearby spaces. The handicapped spaces do not allow wheelchair exit/entry from the side of the vehicle. Doors from the parking garage are difficult to open. Nice pool and fitness center. Biggest drawback - the elevators. Not confident that there are enough even after they finish the upgrade. If we go again it will be because we cannot find anything acceptable near that price. We will never go on a weekend - we spent too much time waiting for elevators even on weekdays. Two blocks away is Hot Bagel - great bagels, sandwiches, and coffee. Open for breakfast and lunch. quiet hours 10PM-8AM, no parties allowed

They never came to clean our room from the time we stood there... That was surprising and annoying... The noise and banging was horrendous... I will never stay at this establishment again...

Great room and great price

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Cons: ELEVATORS!
Great room for the price, had a kitchenette which is convenient, and walkable to beach. Not on main strip of hotels/casinos, but parts are within walking distance, and we went further down via cab that didn't take longer than 3-5 minutes. Only downfall is the hotels drive you so crazy you'd consider not coming back. The staff claims they're being fixed but they stop on EVERY floor, and you wait forever and day to the point we took the stairs 10 flights after waiting over 5 minutes. Otherwise, great hotel, nice staff, room was clean and faced the ocean.

Room was clean and very big. Awesome view as well.

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Size of the rooms, balcony view.
Cons: The hotel elevators where not working because of upgrades, took 15-20 minutes each trip.
Location: Close to everything, but far enough not to get the noise.
Great time in AC. Easy access, quick taxis and huge room.
