Warm greetings by staff. Long check in lines but moved expeditiously. Clean room, with upgrade to waterfront towers. Great restaurants didn't have to leave hotel unless you wanted to. Great stay.

DisappointedPosted Mar 3, 2014
Line to check in was extremely long. The rooms looked pretty old and want able to use my$20 f&b credit because they “ forgot" to place it on my hotel room. Definitely would not recommend staying here

Worth the moneyPosted Mar 1, 2014
I wanted this hotel for a relaxing day at the pool and that is what I got. Our room in the harbor tower was outdated but pretty clean. Restaurants were a bit expensive. And it was difficult to find a cocktail waitress on the casino floor.

Used To Like This Place, Not Going Back AnymorePosted Feb 22, 2014
Pros: Food options were good. Table games are cheap (mostly $10 minimums).
Cons: Maid service was slow. Check in was slow. At one point at 4:30 only two concierge people were handling check in.
Location: Located away from the boardwalk, it's about a 11 minute cab ride to there (6 minutes to the Borgata/Golden Nugget).
Stayed here once in the waterfront tower and loved it. Great size bathroom, nice tv, comfy bed, yadi yadi yadda. Took a trip with 8 other people, 7 of whom had never been to AC and wanted to check it out. I suggested Harrah's after my great first experience here. Bad idea on my part. Check in was fine as they were able to put my girlfriend and I on the same floor as my friends who got conjoining room. Pretty much went downhill from there. Around 4:30am the first night there were neighbors fighting and slamming things next door. Called hotel security and they never did anything. After finally getting back to sleep, at about 11 am "emergency construction" was being performed on a room above us. According to the manager on duty it was a burst pipe. After ruining our nights sleep, my girlfriend called the front desk to speak to the manager but the concierge insisted she could help before speaking harshly to before my girlfriend and hung up on her. After finally getting through to a manager they only offered a comped buffet since "neither were their faults". Our room was never made up by maid service and after complaining to the new manager she said it would be taken care of. 30 minutes later and nothing had been done. We were able to switch rooms and given a 2pm checkout but that didn't matter since we were leaving early. Needless to say it ruined our trip and we will not be returning.

Girls Getaway ( Mom, Daughter, Niece and Friend)Posted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: We loved the room, the view which was bayside and we all said it would be even better in the summer when there would be boats on the water. lol
Cons: Would say that a little leniency on allowing guest into the pool area even if they do not have ID but are guest at the hotel would be appreciated
Location: Wet Willies in the Tropicana, Waterfront Buffet (AWESOME), Gelato stand in lobby to die for, gaming table were good to me...lol..
Our stay was a much needed getaway for all of us females so on a recommendation of my daughter, and another female friend I chose Harrah's. I am glad I did. The drive out was a little tiring so upon arrival about 7pm our check-in person was awesome, she gave me tips and pointers on how to do things such as obtaining a Total Rewards card which I really wanted and some locations we wanted to go to. I inquired about the room, she recommended the Waterfront Tower, and we were pleased. The décor was fab, there were little things cosmetically that we did not trip on. The room again, was awesome, clean, smelling fresh and inviting. The beds were comfortable, we had a room with two queen size beds and we all slept well We requested a cot and was told it would be there within the hour, the bed was there in like 15 mins.; requested more towels, rapid delivery seemed to be the norm. Requested a wake up call and that too was even nice.

Not Worth ItPosted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: The restaurants and shops are decent as there is no where to go outside of the hotel/casino in walking distance. The staff was also nice.
Cons: Cleanliness.Cleanliness. Cleanliness.
Lack of cleanliness is a major factor at this hotel. When I arrived to the room it was evident that it was not thoroughly cleaned since the last guests had left. There were crumbs on the table by the phone which didn't work, a layer of dust on the headboard, an unidentifiable white stain on the couch, stains on the rug, and rust and mold in the shower. I won't be coming back.
