Pros: how close it was to the beach
Cons: the carpet of the hoterlneed to be change
Location: it was close to atlantic city
This was a last minute thing, Did not like the hotel plus i only stay one night and they charge me for 2 nights

Room and hall rugs were dirty outdated but cleaned after complaints. Housekeeping needs to be retrained or supervised better . Staff front desk and Managers were excellent and did best to accommodate us. A small store in hotel with late snacks would be nice. Breakfast was excellent staff very friendly . Otherwise comfy for a short stay .

The hotel was clean no bugs. The pool and free breakfast buffet were definitely a bonus. I wasn't far from the beach either.

Sorry, not the usual Holiday Inn Express quality

Location: Atlantic City boardwalk.
We always stay at Holiday Inn Express when we travel several times a year. This one was not up to expectations. Layout of lobby quirky and small. Stark, unattractive. Our room had chemical odor. Shower rod bent down so curtain could not stay closed pouring water over slippery floor. No decaf coffee for breakfast area either morning. Orange juice just water. We found a Staff manager yelling loudly in our hall at cleaning staff in fight over not cleaning rooms correctly. We are not complaining types, but felt we needed to tell manager. Manager's name on plaque at front desk was no longer employed there. Rough stay. We won't be back.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I would like to address a few of your concerns. First, our Lobby and great room is quite large for a Holiday Inn Express. With Oversized windows spanning the entire length of the building I am not sure how it could be stark, but I do apologize if it was off putting to you. Since our lobby is brand new (built in March 2014) all the furniture is new with Cherry Tables and Granite Coutnertops, its really quite beautiful, but I understand everyones opinion is different. However, I would like to apologize for the room issues. Our housekeeping staff works very hard to ensure each room is perfect, and they may have used too much cleanser in your room. I will speak with our team about that, and I will make sure the shower rod is fixed immediately. Thank you for bringing that to our attention. And lastly, the manager whose name is on the plaque is very much employeed here. He is the COO of our hotel. I apologize if there was a mis communication about this. Our breakfast is a favorite for each guest and we definatley work hard to keep up with the demand, but like every restaurant, some things are more popular than others , and we did run out of decafiinated coffee in the breakfast area. The good news is we still offer in room coffee in which we have plenty left over. I am so sorry you did not enjoy your last visit, but I do wish you will give us another try to really WOW you.

Ok hotel for a brief stay.

Pros: We liked the location,very close to Black Horse Pike. Easy to get to Atlantic City. The king size bed was very comfortable.

My husband and I stayed for two nights during Memorial Day weekend. Our room was adequate for a short stay. The best feature was the large bathroom. However, I had to get more bath towels and face cloths the second night as none were left for us. We waited for 40 minutes on a very long line for breakfast which, by then, was yogurt and coffee. The second morning, we didn't bother... Also, by the second day, one of the two elevators was out of service and elevator #2 was filthy.

First, I want to say Thank you for staying with us, and second, thank you for your feedback. It is very important to us as we can improve on those items you mentioned above. Memorial Day weekend is always busy for us, but this year our Elevators seemed to be overwhelmed by it all, and for that I apologize. Our breakfast team was working very hard to accommodate each guest as the dining room filled quickly. We did not run out of any items, however, the hot items were going faster than we could cook them. On the up side, our newly renovated rooms are a wonderful getaway and we do offer to go trays and bags at breakfast if you wish not to stay in the dining area. I am so glad to hear you enjoyed the bathrooms. We were excited about the new tile floors, bathtubs and curved shower rods. And we now have all "Bath & Body Works" Bathroom Amenities!

Hotel staff gave is a pre occupied room, poor curtains, no wifi, elevators not working. Never staying at holiday inn express.

Holiday Inn at Black Horse Pike, Atlantic City, NJ

Pros: It is very quiet. I appreciate that.
Cons: Clean the room with simple organic cleaner so that it will not smell like chemical solution.
Location: The location is ok from the city.
The room is very clean, but there was a strong smell of cleaning solutions when you walk in the room. Other than that it is ok to stay in. The staff are alright, but I have seen much better from other Holiday Inn hotel. The food is good. Our overall stay is just okey. Sorry, this is how I truly feel.

Pros: We enjoyed the continetinal breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
Cons: Right now I think things are good and I can se the improvements.
Location: We had to drive a little ways to get to where we were going. Maybe there could be a shuttle to take people back and forth.
It was just wonderful. Especially the staff. One named Perry.
