I initially went off the ratings on Expedia which had almost a 8 out of 10. Also I'm not the type of person that gives bad reviews but certainly will when its warranted. As we arrived we found there was very little parking, thats ok though considering you're in a little beach town. Then we got to the room and it looked run down, dirty, pillows were on their last leg and were in desperate need of replacing. I evidently reserved a smoking room which is my fault so it stank and there were cigarette burns on the bed. There was some sort of residue that was on the walls and wasn't wiped down or cleaned. The room was just flat out not worth what they charged. Then we ventured outside the hotel and it was unsettling. There were junkies everywhere passing out on the sidewalks, people drinking in public, trash everywhere, it was pitiful. If you're bringing the family then i wouldn't get any room outside of the casinos. At least then you'll have decent security and they're wont be junkies laying around. And the last night there i am certain i heard gunshots outside the hotel. Just stay away from here or stay at your own risk.

Very convenient to the boardwalk and nearby casinos like Hard Rock, Ocean Resort, and Resorts. A bit noisy. About what you'd expect from a cleanliness standpoint from a Howard Johnson.

Realized that I booked a smoking room and I called right away to change it and they said when you arrive you can get it changed well guess what that was totally untrue because once I got there they only said they have smoking rooms. I’m a smoke and my girlfriend is not but we agreed and took the room. The room reeked of smoke so bad that I was getting a headache and, like I said, I’m a smoker. I went to the front desk and luckily they refunded my money with no issues and we found another hotel that had non smoking and got it booked right away. Also, the area is pretty shady so pack your 9 or Glock!!!

A great place for a quick trip to AC
Clean rooms and lobby. Just a regular hotel no bells and whistles. Perfect for a a few nights stay. Close to the casinos and the river restaurant attached is a great breakfast spot! You do pay for breakfast though.

The rooms were clean and had all the essential things. Rooms need to be much more sound proof. Any conversation that happens in the hallway is heard inside and vice versa. The property had open and covered parking but both the parking lots needs improvement in terms of security.

Local getaway.
Great stay for tge cost. Not so great neighborhood but outside of it it is safe and secure with the boardwalk and shopping close by. Travelling around town, there is NJ transit available.

Firstly the room I booked was not the room I received. I booked a King room and in the pictures it had a couch. I was first given a room with double beds and no couch. Then I was relocated to another room with a kind sized bed but no couch. Another couple came out AC with us and booked the same hotel. As a matter of fact we booked the same day right after each other. Their room was significantly better. It looked exactly like what we saw the day of the booking. Also they offer Amazon TV on the TV but no remote to control it. Kind of frustrating. Then to get the TV to work with the remote they provided was extremely hard. If you get the TV to work with the remote provided whatever you do DO NOT TURN THE TV OFF.
