We had an excellent stay at the Boulevard Motel in Marmora, NJ.
You can tell that Cindy & Claude enjoy what they do because we felt very much at home on our stay!! We thought we were at a bed & breakfast rather than in a motel.
A continental breakfast under a giant holly tree was the perfect start to our morning.
This place is a diamond in the rough!! Very highly recommended!!

We spent two nights at the Surrey Beach House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location couldn't be better and two very nice restaurants are a very short walk away. Our room was great - the beds and pillows so comfortable.

I love the Golden Nugget. the only downside is the amount of money I lose at the slots.....but that's my choice of machines, not management's fault. I never had a problem at check-in, or got a dirty room. It has always been a pleasure.

It's a nice b n b. I have never stayed at a bnb before so was not sure what to expect. We stayed in the house across the street (not the main house). The rooms are a good size, comparable to my master room in my 1200sqft house. The bathroom is on the small side but functional with a stand up shower, no bath. Note to staff, move the toilet paper holder to other wall in room 6.
There is a nice area on the main floor of the main house where breakfast is served two different times in the morning. This is where we saw other guests and chatted a bit about what to do around town, etc. It was a nice atmosphere compared to staying a big hotel where you are not likely to chat with anyone. This area also had some wine and cheese out in the afternoon.
As for the A/C, it is a window shaker but we did not need it during our stay, we opted for opening the windows to let fresh air in to cool off the room. You can probably sleep with the windows open too as the area is not that busy.
The hotel has a small number of parking spots so we had to park on the street. There is metered parking on the street out front but if you go across Atlantic Ave there is free on street parking on a bunch of streets. So you are basically 300ft from the hotel. I was able to park on the same street as the hotel every day/night, on the free side, without problems. I was also able to leave the car there all day without have to move it around.
I would return to this place and stay again.
