“Exactly what it's supposed to be”

I only stayed one night, but for the most inexpensive room within walking distance of the House of Blues, this place fit the bill. The room was spartan but clean, parking was free, staff was friendly and Domino's delivers there at 2a.m., so I was happy.

“Comfortable and affordable”

My room was very spacious and comfortable. The front desk attendant was very friendly and helpful. This is definatley an affordable priced hotel located right on the boardwalk. I would use this hotel again.

“not bad for the money spent”

Excellent location....the rooms were not bad, little dirty, lots of flies..yes flies, they didnt bother you they were little. we noticed the problem outside the door in the morng when we went to check out, might be because of the ocean and they were getting in. Bed was not bad at all, actually slept well. Not bad for the location and the money spent. for one night it was good enough for us!

“A perfect hotel for the price!”

Ive read past reviews on this hotel, and didnt really like what i had read.. So I didnt know what to expect.. Well, I guess the people complaining about this hotel are hotel snobs.. There was nothing wrong with staying here at all.. Im from the tri-state area, so maybe that helped my opinion.. Atlantic City isnt the greatest place in the world.. Its run down, and not very nice looking.. So, if you're expecting great scenery, amazingly nice people.. Think again.. Knowing this, anywhere you stay in AC is going to look run down.. I dont know anyone from this area that goes to AC to spend time in their hotel, or to go to the beach.. They go to gamble, or see the nightlife.. And for that sort of thing, this hotel is perfect! The service was absolutely fine, asking if I needed anything and assuring if there was a problem to just ring the front desk.. Clean room, excellent location.. Within walking distance to the Showboat/House of Blues.. If you want to take a stroll on the boardwalk, its right there as well.. If youre looking for a hotel to hang out for hours in, and spending most of your time there while staying in AC, look for some place else.. This is not a hang out hotel.. Its great if you need a break from AC for a minute.. Its got a TV, a bed and a shower.. All of which are clean lol.. So you just have to ask yourself, is the hotel your get-away?? Or is the location your get-away.. If your answer is the latter, this hotel will serve you just fine!

“Right for the Price”

Feel like partying in Atlantic City, but don't want to pay ridiculous amounts of money on a room that you are probably only going to be pre-gaming, sleeping, and perhaps doing one or two "other" things in. Why bother wasting hundreds and hundreds of dollars on one of the high-profile hotels when you could spend your night here and save a few hundred dollars; then, you would be able to spend a considerably greater amount of money on drinking, gambling, clubbing, or doing whatever else may entice your curiosity. For the price I payed here, I cannot complain. I reserved my room over the phone with Expedia, got to the hotel, and was handed my key within a couple of minutes. Before I knew it, I was drinking in the room, partying at the Harrah's pool party, and returning to the Travelodge. They even extended our checkout time from 11:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. to give us more time to prepare for our departure. Great hotel. Friendly employees. Save money. Overall: Convenient.

“Great for the money”

The staff was great. They let us check in WAY early which was super helpful! The hotel was nice for the money. The only actual complaint I would have is that they do not have bath towels. There ARE towels in the bathroom, but they are small hand towels. So i would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone and will stay there again, myself. Just remember to bring your own bath towels if that is something that is important to you. Oh also, the rooms are NOT sound proof, so keep that in mind.
