Decent boardwalk hotel

Posted May 24, 2015
Was pleased with the price of the hotel. Probably the cheapest one you can find on the boardwalk. Most rooms, I believe, are furnished suites. Complete with two couches, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, full sized fridge, pots, pans, and all sorts of other utensils. The bedroom was nice and comfortable. The windows were large and gave good views. Biggest knock I have is the parking. There are only 3 levels in their parking "garage"- each with no more than 10 spaces in each. Now, mind you, this is a 9 story hotel. The spaces themselves were even unbelievably tight. Luckily, though, there are a few lots right across the street that charge about $7 for parking. But overall, the experience was nice and enjoyable. Its an older building, and the parking is horrible but this is a great place to stay for a night or two, be right on the boardwalk, have a sizable suite, and all for a pretty low price.

Good Budget Hotel

Posted May 24, 2015
Pros: Location - right on the boardwalk
Cons: Could use modernising
Location: Close to everything the boardwalk has to offer - casinos, restaurants, bars, Boardwalk Hall, pier
This is by no means a luxury hotel, but if you're on a budget, this is a good place to stay. We stayed overnight in a 1-bedroom suite, which would be suitable for parents with 1 or 2 kids, or a couple of couples, as there is a separate bedroom (bed was comfy, pull out couch not so much). If you don't want to eat out all the time, the suite has a well-equipped kitchenette, with a dining table and 4 chairs. Large balcony too (not good for small children unless you really keep an eye on them), with lovely view of miles of beach and ocean but also a not-so lovely view of the black-topped roofs of the boardwalk shops. The place definitely needs updating and is a bit rough around the edges (chipped, cheap furnishings, broken fixture in bathroom). We could hear the live band at the bar on the beach a little further down the boardwalk, which could be OK or not, depending on whether you like the music or would prefer to sleep. The parking garage is the absolute WORST and if like me you're spatially challenged when trying to get in or out of tight spaces, pay the extra and park in the open-air parking lot opposite

Nice place to spend the night.

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Price and comfort
Cons: PARKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Location: Location is right on the boardwalk and easy to go from one event to another.
Checked in two hours early and the room overlooked the ocean with a nice breeze. The room was clean and was comfortable to watch TV and relax. The only problem was the parking. I parked in the bottom level and it was very hard to maneuver between the concrete pillars and the other cars that were already there. When leaving for the evening show I honestly did not know if I could get out it was that bad. Cars had come in and boxed me in in such a way that it took a lot of going forward and bad over and over and over again to finally get out. Quite an experience!!! Outside of the parking the place was great for comfort and the price.

Pros: I liked this hotel because it was close to everything. It had everything perfect to bring even children.
Cons: It could use to be updated a bit.
Location: The amusement park was right there, as well as beach and boardwalk.
We had a clean room. It had a nice balcony. Was handicap accessible they have a mini kitchen, we only went for one night but will stay longer next time..

Pros: Pool and kitchen. And location
Cons: Lights on porches and televisions
Location: Middle of everything wonderful location
Although older, everything was working and clean . Kitchen was extremely useful for travel with little ones the jacuzzi tub was a hit and pool was perfect size and the jets in the pool also one of a kind .ocean view and porch were spectacular. VERY convenient location basically smack dab in the middle of the boardwalk variety of food and stores right out the door and casinos aracade and beach also very very close. Staff was courteous and helpful bring your own pool toys but very very family friendly . Just like a beach house
