One of the better hotels on White Horse Pike

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Out of all the hotels on White Horse Pike, this is one of the better ones. It is not perfect but acceptable. The staff was pleasant and the rooms are better than most on the White Horse Pike.

Only if you have to stay there

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: None
Cons: Evertyhing
Location: Atlantic City
Hotel is located in the good location. Everything in the area was booked, so we had to stay there. Bathroom was horrible. No breakfast, no coffee, no coffee machine. Staff was good.

Needs a refresh.

Pros: Location
Cons: Overall everything needs an update.
Clean rooms but in need of a refresh. Overpriced for what you get.

The 1st room had a torn window screen, dirty bathroom floor, stains on the wall and blonde hair on the "clean" towels. It was suppose to be a non smoking room but everything smelled like smoke. The next room was better but I would stay somewhere else the next time. Dana the customer service rep was great at handling our situation.

Convenient to Atlantic City

Posted Jul 21, 2014
This was once a nice place when first built. Presently, there is minimal effort by ownership to invest back to maintain good standards. The hallways and rooms have a perpetual smoke and old smell. I had a hard time sleeping being sensitive to odors. Landscaping is very lacking. Disappointed to see great potential wasted. The ownership seems to be focused on immediate revenue only. I could say a lot more but you get the point.

looks nice from the outside

Stayed 1 night at this hotel and was really disappointed. Stayed in a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke and had an ashtray on the table. Given 2 small towels, one with a large hole in it. No shampoo, conditioner, etc, just the tiniest bar of soap I had ever seen. Room air conditioner had to be on at all times to keep room at tolerable temperature. Asked for an extra pillow, couldn't even use it because it smelled so bad. Woman at front desk apathetic and unhelpful. Would never stay here again.

Horrible

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Absolutely NOTHING
Cons: Everything
Location: We only stayed here because it was close to Stockton College. Won't be back!
We stayed at this same hotel 3 years ago and it was NOT as horrible as this past weekend. We pulled into the parking lot and the landscaping was overgrown...should have been our first clue! The lady at the registration desk was nice, but wouldn't allow us to upgrade or change our reservation because we booked through another agency. On the way to our room we were walking up the hallway and the wallpaper was falling off the walls and their was dirt all over the carpet. We got to our room and I went to sit in the chair and their was Vaseline all over the arm of the chair. There was mold on the walls, crusty stuff on the carpet and the sink in the bathroom was clogged. I have pictures off all of the above and plan on contacting the CEO Jim Amorosia and making him aware of these issues.

Keep driving, don't stop/ stay here.

Pros: sorry, it was very disappointing all the way around
Cons: This is a very competitive market, and for the price, this facility should be better maintained both inside and out. Clean it up, improve amenities.
Location: About 15 minutes to the Atlantic City airport, 20 minutes to the boardwalk/ Atlantic ocean-
We've stayed in several Motel 6 's previously- so we don't expect a great deal... but this one is at the bottom of the quality scale. I don't like to give a bad report, but I will make an exception here... On an avenue with a dozen or more hotels in close proximity, we should have looked / stayed elsewhere. While the building looks recently painted, the landscape hasn't been touched in months, weeds and overgrowth in every flower bed. The halls are not air conditioned, the carpet is old, worn. The AC in the room was temperamental and loud. The halls and elevators smell like ash trays. Very few amenities, just coffee or tea in the lobby. Small, worn towels, skimpy slices of soap... there's better places to stay... much better...

The hotel looks ok but it was hot outside and the AC seemed not to be working properly so the room was uncomfortable. We tried to adjust the AC but they have it set up and couldn't get a good night sleep.
