“Worst Hotel Room Ever”

One of the worst hotel stays ever. Stained white towels in the bathroom; no bath mat to prevent slipping in the tub; only one bar of soap for the sink, none for the bathtub; no glasses in the bathroom; no toilet paper holder for the toilet paper; small lotion bottle was half empty (used already); broken dial on iron; leaking showerhead; shower on/off valve half out of the wall; no ice in ice machine on floor. DO NOT STAY HERE.

“"A Nice Getaway"”

I enjoyed my stay in a suite at the Ramada. It was clean and service was good! I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. All and all it's not a five star hotel but if you want a quick escape in a descent hotel...definitely try the Ramada. Oh and there's a Denny's right next to it! AWESOME

“Ants!”

Hotel was comfortable, but dirty. We brought a cooler full of fruit for our son to eat and in the morning it was covered in ants! Not just a few, imagine a swarm of ants. It was disgusting! Also, the pool hadn't been cleaned in a while (apparently because of an employee because we heard the manager telling him that he forgot to clean it). Also, the "nightlife" is not for kids. Just walking to your car at night will get your child a plethora of opportunities to see people wearing the skimpiest of clothes. I couldn't tell if these women were hookers or not, but I'd guess that they were just by the way they were dressed. One girl came to breakfast wearing thong shorts made from sweatpants material! We had to leave because my son kept staring. All in all, find a better hotel. Maybe pay for a better room somewhere else to avoid the locals.

“Mold, Dirt, Odor, OMG - Ewwwww!!!!!”

This room was absolutely disgusting!! There was mold in a few places, virtually no lighting in the bathroom, broken lampshades, a window so disgusting you couldn't see outside, brownish-yellowed ceiling tiles, carpet stains, no hangers, rust, dirt, grime, and uggghhh... Just horrible. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in my entire life. There was also no access to fresh towels when we needed them, the maids had thier kids in the rooms with them while they cleaned. Oh, I could go on and on...

We just wanted to be close to casinos without paying for casinos. Well, you get what you pay for? Hmmm, not even close!!

Getting around

Showboat offered free shuttle service to and from the casinos on Saturday night.

“I will never return”

This "Hotel/Motel" was a dump. Everything was in need of repair and it was very obvious this place will be going out of business soon. The rooms smell like sweaty gym socks and the customer service is horrible because management is over worked and under staffed. The overall stay was a waste.

“Nice and Simple!”

It was great! This was a great weekend getaway hotel! It was about seven minutes away from the casinos and I would defiantly stay here again!

“Galloway/Atlantic City deal”

This hotel is situated right on a main corridor that leads to Atlantic City. It is clean, easy to get to, and provides an awesome continental hot breakfast. Rooms were clean and there was ample lighted parking in the rear of the building. Two thumbs up!

“Not Happy!”

Room had a old smell and a weak air conditioner which made the room muggy. We opened the windows to get some fresh air in and found that the screen was falling apart so we couldn't keep the window open for long because we didn't want a room full of bugs! The beds were ridiculously small and would have a problem fitting two small children, yet normal sized adults! They were also very uncomfortable. Breakfast in the morning is a joke. They won't replenish anything so plan on eating elsewhere unless you're going to be up at 6AM to be the first one there! Steer clear of this dump!

Traveler's tip

Forget the breakfast in the morning, if you don't get there at the crack of dawn, most EVERYTHING will be GONE! I was looking forward to making myself a waffle, but all the batter was used up and they refused refill it. I was going to settle for just a cup of coffee, and even that was empty! Completely RIDICULOUS! There might as well just be a sign in the lobby that says, you're screwed, just go to Denny's. Thankfully it's conveniently located right next store!
