“Not bad for the location”

Pretty clean and cheap. If you want something cheap and very close this is it. Not the nicest or greatest but okay for one night.

Let's start with the parking: VERY tight and if you got the wrong spot you might get parked in!!! Hallways: No AC, carpets were absolutely filthy and everything smelled like mothballs. Elevator: For GOD Sake stand perfectly still when riding. I made the mistake of moving to the other side and the whole thing shook (took mothball smelling stairs the rest of the time there) Balcony: Filthy Carpets and crappy view unless you like parking lots and the backside of buildings. Room: Bed was nice neatly made, but walls were stained 1" of dust on tv stand, dirt in every nook and cranny. You can tell they just did the very basics in cleaning. Surrounding neighborhood...what can I say if your not in one of the resorts its typical atlantic city!!!! If you don't care about anything but looking for a place to sleep off your nightly activities then this is your place. But if you want clean, and any amenities at all look elsewhere!!!!

“Philly boardwalkers 2011”

Red Carpet Hotel is close to everything in AC. However we were there the week before the 4th of July.The price was great but the air conditioner motor was keeping us up,. When I called the front desk I was told I couldn't switch rooms and also told that someone would be there to fix the air conditioner( no one came).The ice machine was broke when got there on Monday it didn't get fixed til thursday again the front desk told us "they" have an agreement with the hotel "across the street" so we could take our ice bucket across the street and get ice. To top this week off some strange guy asked for our room # at 7am waking us up saying that he was looking for someone else,talk about security my husband immediately went out to check our car to make sure it was ok...We wont be going back there again.

“Atlantic city cheap and best located hotel”

it is localed next to Taj Mahal and near by boat walk, I alsways prefer this hotel whenever I go to atlantic city.. Price is little bit more and it should be less compared to other luxary hotels

“It was convenient to the Taj where we were seeing an Alan Jackson show”

It was ok. The lobby area was dirty and so were the halls. Room was relatively clean. Would not eat the breakfast because the lobby where it was placed was so dirty I wasn't sure the dust hadn't fallen in the food.

“Good Deal”

Besides not speaking much English, the staff was gracious and helpful. The place is conveniently a two-block walk to the boardwalk and casinos. We had free parking, and the room was kind of old, but very clean. In all, for the little money we spent, it was a very good experience, and we would stay there again.

“Cheap”

This hotel was about the cheapest one right in Atlantic City, so expect exactly what you pay for. Pretty run down, in desperate need up updating, but it's cheap. Everything worked, and was about as clean as you would expect for an older hotel. We were told it had just recently changed hands, so I would guess there will be updates done in the future. I'll recommend it only because it was cheap and the front desk help was very friendly and welcoming.

The hand towels were dirty. The hotel advertised free high speed internet, but that was not true. The room smelled of moth balls.

“Good for a one or two night stay”

Hotel and rooms are old and dated but clean. They have taken the precaution of enclosing the mattress in a sealed plastic wrap (assuming for the recent bed bug problems) which was nice to see. As others have suggested, bringing your own towels is a good idea as the ones they supply are old and thin. Parking is not ample for the amount of rooms but if you get there early enough it's not a problem. If you are a light sleeper you will hear the traffic - no matter where your room is. Good place for 1-2 nights if you are not too picky.
