Hotel and the attractions around it are great. Need to stay in the newer tower but beware of having to walk through smoking to get to the elevators. I would stay there again.

One of the best

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The overall mood is upbeat, modern and a pleasant experience. The room are large and airy. The air conditioner is not noisey, and the bathroom is as
Cons: The check-in time needs to be worked on to allow earlier check ins to allow guest to use their casino which is why they exist.
Location: Fun is a walk away on the boardwalk. Walk to you drop and play in the water and come in to have fun in the casino.
My wife and I were at Resorts for an awards banquet and were pleasantly surprised and happy with the hotel. We stayed two nights on the 47th floor which had a great view of the boardwalk and ocean. We arrived early on a Sunday, and had to be at the event at the hotel at 6pm, and the Sunday check-in time was 5pm. Derrick at the desk was nice enough to allow us to check-in at 1:30 and put us on a smoking floor, which was okay with us. To be honest, while in the room you really could not tell you were on a smoking floor. The room was huge, modern, comfortable and clean. The bathroom had a double sink, large glass shower, and pleasing lights inside. The hotel in right on the boardwalk and has several nice restaurants, and the casino was better than the other ones we played in. The only thing that was a little bit off at first was the busy check-in procedure that was well-handled by the desk staff to handle the long lines waiting to check in. The hotel offers a lot, from shops that have great gourmet coffee, to snacks and beach supplies. There is a huge price difference from weekends to weekday rates so check before you commit to a weekend. We flew from Boston to Philadelphia, and rented a car which was only a 70 minute straight highway drive away.

staff was wonderful, everyone was very helpful check in was fast, casino was clean and we did not see anyone smoking, so assumed it was smoke free casino

Don't Stay Here

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: The breadsticks cafe was affordable and had good food. The land shark is where we wound up going for dinner and drinks, excellent service!!
Cons: Customer Service
Ridiculous! We arrived at the hotel just before 7 pm went to the front desk and were told that our king room was ready, only problem there were three of us and we reserved a double on 5/15 in the Ocean Tower. Then they told me that if I wanted a double that I would have to wait an hour. They said we'll call you when it's ready, no apology just don't call us we'll call you. Then after waiting an hour we were given a room overlooking a roof rather than the ocean view that we reserved. I called the front desk and was told by the "manager" that reservations do not guarantee the type of room you get or that the room will be ready when you arrive. He said ocean view is considered a request, are you kidding me?! I was furious this was a family get away to celebrate my 40th birthday and my first visit to Atlantic City. Terrible customer service if I go back to atlantic City I will definitely not be staying here and neither should you.

Great Little Getaway

Posted Jun 28, 2014
I went to Resorts mid-week with my husband and two teenage sons. The hotel was very clean and our room was much larger than we needed. Our room attendant was very attentive and friendly from the moment we met him in the hallway. The lobby has more than enough food courts, restaurants and shops. The boardwalk and Steel Pier were close enough for my sons to go on their own. Great location and wonderful hotel. The only thing I can say negative is that the casino smoke permeated part of the lobby but certainly did not carry to our room.

Not a good experience

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: Dirty, outdated and over priced...
At this room rate, I expected a lot more. Room was outdated, uncomfortable, no amenities, overall depressing ambience. The art in the room was so annoying/bad I was tempted to take it down. The bathroom, small, old and reminded me of the bathroom in my basement. The furniture chipped wood. The TV, a 32 inch microscopic image. Room called a 'deluxe' because it contained an additional hall to 'no-where'. The front desk tried the old bait and switch trying to give me a room with 2 queen beds when I'm standing there with my girl friend. At these prices just insulting/silly.They required a $100.00 deposit at check-out (not mentioned upon checking in) as a form of room insurance ????. Never again, live and learn.

Pros: Close access to the beach
Cons: Hotel need to be renovated
Location: Location is great. It is not far from the action. But yet not as rowdy
Room was in ocean tower it was fine. This one was renovated. Casino is old. Needs an update. Great location for the beach
