Need of an upgrade

Pros: Golf facilities are fantastic
Cons: Rooms, service
Location: Still great restaurants in AC
I have been coming to Seaview for over 25 years. I really think Stockton needs to invest in the rooms. They are really getting tired and in need of repair. I love the facility overall because of the golf courses but they really need to upgrade the whole experience. I do not expect it to be the same as when Marriott ran it but it still could be handled better.

Very nice pool to relax at during the summer, the hotel exterior and lobby were all very well maintained and looked beautiful. The section of the hotel that our room was in, was a little bit dated, as well at the room itself. But the beds were nice, and clean. 10-15 minute drive to Atlantic City and only a 5-10 minute drive to Smithville. I would come back here for sure.

Good value , indoor & outdoor pools

Good overall. Best breakfast/lunch on east coast is nearby Shea's cafe bakery. Convenient shuttle to Marriott property. Beaches not far. Handsome hotel entrance. Good golf. Long hallways recall the Overlook hotel, but in a positive way. We might stay again. Not for people with pet allergies, but otherwise a positive experience.

Golf Vacation

Pros: Close proximity to golf courses
Cons: The fact that this hotel has resorted to charging a daily fee for in room refrigerators detracted slightly from the overall experience.
Location: Very close to almost everything.
The hotel was very nice but it was very crowded with a very large group so it was a very busy place. Staff and facilities were very good and the golf is great.

This hotel has very interesting history, having hosted the 1942 PGA championship. Related Golf decor Is great to peruse. The lobby is beautiful. Bed was extremely comfortable. Ceilings throughout are very high and it's a nice choice close to AC but with more style. Would recommend. However the service in the grille room was not good and the food was ok. The main dining room is beautiful. But why do they only serve breakfast daily or brunch on Sunday's?

Not worth the price

Pros: Nothing
This hotel had the worst mattress and most uncomfortable sleep I have ever had. Lumpy hard mattress with flat lifeless pillow. AC system was inefficient and made my throat hurt. Hotel staff were not friendly and poorly organized. I will not stay here or come back

Nice place

Nice place...just weird aggravating stuff...bedside lamp did not work but because no outlet...light at room entrance did not work...got room all the way at end figuring it would be quieter and no go. ...but that is more about guests than hotel...valet car guys wonderful...would go again but not when 2 weddings there
