“When Price Matters More Than Cleanliness”
The first impression of the room was good, except for the ceiling light fixtures with four-foot long cold white fluorescent tubes. The good impression quickly faded! Although the room was tidy, it was FILTHY. There was a hole in the wall and tear in the wallpaper where someone had obviously punched it. Above the small eating table, stuck to the wall, were food bits blackened with age. On the wall near the entry door was a small patch of black mold. The room had obviously not even been vacuumed. Although it was non-smoking, on the carpet were cigarette ashes. There no cooking utensils, china, cutlery, nothing, making the kitchenette virtually useless. The filthy coffee maker had obviously not been washed but only rinsed out for weeks (months?). The stove burner drip trays lined with aluminum foil were black with the burned-on cooking residue. Worst though was the bathroom. The sink was missing the plunger rod to open and close the stopper. The only way to empty the sink was to stick your hand in the dirty water and pull the stopper out with your nails. The top of the hair dryer wall mount had a layer of dust on it that represented at least weeks without being cleaned. The bathtub wall was awful with uncleaned soap residue and spots from previous users' showers. Quite clearly it had not even been wiped down with the used towels when the room was "cleaned". The toilet seat and seat hinges were visibly filthy and the bowl looked like a dirty service station toilet. Awful!
“Lipstick on cup; recycling gone too far!”
Geez, get out of this business. Yuk, again lipstick found on rim of styrofoam cup. Linens were thin and had to return them to office to receive a new towel. She asked me when I was going to shower, so she would have a towel ready for me in the main office. So bad it was comical. Yukkkyyy
