“Great for a girls weekend”

My girlfriends and I stayed at the Chelsea this past weekend, and we will definitely go back! The room was great- the bed was SO comfortable! There is glitter on the ceiling and cute accessories in the room. The Fifth Floor Bar/Lounge/Club was AWESOME! We had no idea it was even there- our waiter at another restaurant told us we had to check it out, and we did and went back the next night, too! There is no cover for hotel guests, but everyone else paid at least 20 bucks to get in. Parking is valet only- a good chunk of cash PER DAY PER CAR. I parked at the Trop garage for much cheaper. We got breakfast takeout from Teplitzky's- it was a little pricey but worth it because it was too rainy for a walk to Dunkin Donuts. The Chelsea hotel is different from the Chelsea Annex- you want to stay in the hotel because it's newer and nicer- the Annex is like a Motel 6. The minibar has a good stock of drinks and snacks, but there is no microwave or coffee maker in the room. All in all, we were nervous going because we had never heard of this place, but it's like a best-kept secret of AC and we will DEFINITELY be going back next time we do a girls weekend! The crowd of the hotel was young- 20's/30's...so it's probably not a place to take the kids. For us, we LOVED it! It was a great hotel in a perfect location for a great price!

“very nice hotel w/ friendly service”

my wife ad i both loved it. great room w/ modern amenities such as flat screen hdtv. great bar and lounge area on 5th floor. pool and beach area are awesome w/ towel and beach chair provided by hotel and the staff at the pool and the beach does everything such as drink orders and setting up the chair and towels. also free chelsea cart rides down the boardwalk. we have stayed in AC many times but never enjoyed it so much . A+ visit

I had a great time and experience at the hotel. The complete staff is very accomodating and pleasing. Unfortunately because the hotel is new, not everything was open, such as the pool area, but I am really looking forward to going back and taking full advantage of the amenities of the hotel.

“very nice place to stay”

we would definately stay with the Chelsea again. the rooms were very nice, and staff was helpful and friendly. the only things i didnt like was that there was no ice machine on our floor, and we didnt have alot of hot water in the shower. the food and drinks were alittle pricey, but was very good. overall all we enjoyed our stay and would definatley go back.

“Fabulous”

What a wonderful hotel! The 5th floor was amazing. We came back from the casinos and relaxed by playing pool and drinking cocktails in the living room. Our room was new, clean and chic. The service was top notch. We can't wait to go back! This was a classy experience.

“Very Pleased”

I was really impressed with this hotel. The room and bed was very comfortable. A flat screen TV too. I would stay here again. The only thing was the air condition, it made noise but, it seemed to put me to sleep. This hotel had everything you would need for a stay. The Service was great!

We can't say enough good things about our stay. From the service checking in to the room's vibe to the restaurants on site, we really enjoyed our time at the Chelsea. We'd recommend to anyone looking to take in AC without having to tie yourself to a casino. The retro decor was a nice change of pace, and for fans of "Mad Men" era, you'll find yourself right at home. The only downfall was that the hotel seemed to be still under construction, and the spa, etc. were not available yet.

“Nice & Cozy”

Nice little hotel located right by the boardwalk and only five minutes from all the casinos. They provide towels, beach chairs and umbrellas when you enter the beach which I found to be a big plus. The bed was amazingly comfortable and I'm pretty sure I would stay there during my next trip to AC.

“First time at the Chelsea”

I have wanted to stay at this hotle since it opened and finally had a chance when I used Expedia Unpublished rate. Check in was a breeze - less than 5 minutes to get processed. The room was very nice - funky furnishing added a nice touch. I was very pleased with the stay and look forward to staying there again sometime.
