Clean, comfortable, with all amenities requested.

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable with all the amenities we needed.
Cons: Water temperature for the shower.
Location: The location was far from the action in Ocean City. We had to drive from 34th Street down to 9th Street to really enjoy the town and parking was hard.
The room in which we stayed was pleasing to the eye. Two very comfortable double beds with sufficient pillows, blankets and clean sheets. The room was situated a distance from the exit to the street floor, but was not a problem. Parking was easy - we were able to park in the shade. The staff was very cooperative, one morning, however, the room was not made up. That problem was rectified the next day. We had difficulty with the water temperature in the shower, the final night of our stay. It was either cold or scalding. No in between. The other nights (2 nights) the water temperature was fine. We were within walking distance to the beach, but far away from the area in Ocean City where all the action and boardwalk merchants were, so we had to drive. Parking in O.C. was difficult, with either parking lots or meters. Did much walking. Food shopping was nearby to the hotel, as was a CVS. The air conditioner worked well as did the TV. We enjoyed the kitchenette, with it's coffee maker, refrigerator and toaster. It was fully stocked with utensils and plates, pots and even cleaning materials. Very pleasant place to stay.

Awesome!!!

Pros: The staff is so friendly and helpful. The pool is an amazing addition to the beach that's a block away!
Cons: Nothing!!!!!
Location: The beach is a few blocks away which is AMAZING...and there is a cvs and wawa next door to the Crossings. So much to do!
So clean and convienent. Exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen area gave us space to wash the baby's bottles and the pool was amazing! We will be back next summer. What a great place to stay!

The hotel was very nice. The room was updated with new linens and furniture. Other hotels in Ocean City were double the price. I would definitely come back in the future.

Bed/Mattress Bad

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Staff, cleanliness.
Cons: Bed/sofa bed were awful.
Location: Location was fine because we used car - price quite was reasonable in light of not very close to boards and beaches. Right next to 34th street bridge.
Staff was extremely welcoming, pleasant, and helpful. Room, pool, and common areas were nice and clean. Problem and a big one, were the bed and sofa bed. both were quite uncomfortable, seemingly broken down to the point that it felt as if we were lying on hills and valleys.

Perfect location, five blocks from beach!

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Helpful staff, clean, nicely decorated rooms, good price for the location.
Cons: Minor thing: nonsmoking facility but staff smoke outside the reception area, and nonsmokers get a good whiff entering and exiting.
Location: Within a few steps: CVS, Wawa convenience store, gas, breakfast sandwiches, Italian Restaurant. Lots of restaurants, ice cream, boardwalk.
Staff were helpful, room was decorated with sailing and beach decorations, all tied together, clean, comfortable beds, nice comforters on the beds, good closet and drawer space... everything was great. We had a wonderful stay and will go back again. Ocean City is very family friendly and the beaches are wonderful... clean and easy to get to.

Nice weekend getaway!

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Stayed at The Crossings for a long weekend with my family- The rooms were very clean and nicely maintained The bedding seemed a little worn, but sheets were clean. Perfect location to the beach and nearby shopping- Short drive to nearby eateries and boardwalk- I would stay here again and recommend it to others-

Good place

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Price, rooms., pool
Book at the last minute, and we were not disapointed at all. Very clean room with nice decorations. Bathroom was ok. Close to the boardwalk, but with small kids, I would not walk it. Pool was heated and very clean. Practical since we got late day showers. I would return there without hesitation..

Served the purpose

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Close to beach, offered two beach badges, cooking facilities and refrigerator, heated pool, laundry.
Cons: Communication and stronger staffing.
Location: Beach. Grocery store and delis in walking distance.
We were pleased that this hotel was close to the beach, included a heated pool, a small laundry facility, an a small kitchen with an electric stove. We found the housekeeping very disappointing, however. The first day we put out our "service room" tag on the door, only to find that the room had not been entered when we returned from our day. We had to go downstairs to request fresh towels and bring them up ourselves. It's possible the wind flipped the tag and the attendant took it for a "do not disturb" tag, so we gave the benefit of the doubt. The second day we put the service tag out at a time when we saw housekeeping on the floor and secured it better so it wouldn't flip, while we were still in the room and wouldn't miss an attendant. The attendant knocked, asked what we needed and provided only that - emptying of our overflowing garbages from the day before, and nothing more. The third day we realized we were going to need more toilet paper and paper towels, so we stopped at the desk on our way to the beach and asked for them. We were going to take them up ourselves as before, but were told the items would be brought up. They were not in the room when we returned, and we had to go back downstairs and bring them up ourselves. So, we basically got very little in the way of cleaning services, and they in turn, got no tip.
