Not a Trump property!

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: It was a place to sleep that wasn't horrible, and immediate access to the boardwalk.
Cons: Cosmetic repairs. Trumps name removed since its not a Trump hotel.
Location: Lots to do nearby.
Don't be misled. Trump no longer owns this property and has been actively trying to have his name removed. 4 things stood out at arrival. 1) Entrance from parking garage is in dire need of maintenance. 2) Upon entering the the convention floor, you are bombarded with cigarette smoke. I get it - smoking is allowed in sections. It would be nice if you didn't have to walk through those sections for checking and room access. 3) The elevators are in need of cosmetic repair inside. 4) At night many of the lights on the building and sign were out, unlike other surrounding hotels.

Nasty Hotel - Do not Waste Money

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Nothing. Even parking was $20 per night?
Cons: Nothing...
Location: This hotel is located to the farthest area from shopping and other near by casinos. so going there is being sucked there...
This hotel is so stinky and filthy and has used so cheap materials in even at construction. The Casino is very dirty. We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel at all. If you want to Stay stay at this hotel, it is completely up to you. You will waste your money by value consumption perspective.

Bad information and Not what we were expecting.

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Received Expedia confirmation for my king room/smoking. Arrived at Taj Mahal, was booked in a double queen/non smoking room, the girl at check in (Jessy/Brooklyn) said "no problem, I'm going to upgrade you to our Chairman tower and waive the $35.00 fee". Perfect, look at my credit card billing today...and I was charged the $ 35.00 fee for the upgrade. Not a happy camper. Also, the Taj seems to be on its last leg....really looking rundown and sparse.

Nice hotel close to the beach.

Beautiful view in corner unit. Wonderful helpful staff. Spacious room and clean. Older part of hotel needs a lot of care. Huge casino but very empty.
