Our interest was to watch the Al Bano showPosted May 2, 2015
Pros: The gambling par of it
The room carpet was dirty all over; very old furniture; the bath room had the bare essential, etc etc.

Love the QuarterPosted May 2, 2015
Nice stay, the Quarter is great. The rooms are very clean and nice. Palm ahead if you need to leave early in the morning and need to get your car from valet, as no one answers the phone at either the front desk or concierge. We left at 6am (not too terrible) and no one was on duty yet

TropicanaPosted May 2, 2015
Pros: The stores
Cons: Hotels off the boardwalk offered breakfast and considering what we paid per night, I think that would help. Hooks & shelves needed in the bathroom.
Location: Atlantic City, the boardwalk, the beach, all good stuff.
Room was clean but lacking hooks in the bathroom for clothes and no shelves in there for towels. Couldn't find check-in area or elevators to room, way too far to walk. Shops ok in hotel, just pricey. Casino nice, loved the no smoking section, again nothing economical, everything very pricey. Close to the boardwalk. Prom night on our last night there, security came to the room next door. Complained to the manager, was not offered any compensation at all. . a little disappointed in that. Considering the rate, I think it was overpriced for what we got.

Pros: There are plenty of activities to keep a group entertained.
Location: There are plenty of activities in AC to keep a group entertained. Many Shows, Strippers, golf, beach are all available.
Went to the Tropicana for a buddy's bachelor party. The hotel has a good mix of activities for a large group. We were able to do some gambling, go to some night clubs, and eat at really good restaurants all right within the hotel. Carmines family style dining was perfect for our large group due to the portion sizes. Tip: Ensure all group members have individual key cards or you will have problems getting to the hotel towers from the casino floor.

Nice time.Posted Apr 27, 2015
Nice ocean view. The room looked a little outdated because of the rug but was clean otherwise and I had a great view of the ocean in the Havana tower at the Trop. Second time staying there and last few years and I like everything except for the gym and pool area which I believe they will have new facilities in the future.

A lot to do, fun environmentPosted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: A lot going on for a 40+ couple. We gambled, went to a great restaurant and dance at Boogie Nights.
Cons: The rooms need to be updated in the West Wing
The Tropicana is a fun casino/hotel with a lot to do. We did the couples massage/spa and it was great. For dinner we went to the Cuban restaurant and the food was amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful throughout the entire facility.
