Great location, many restaurants and Wet Willys!Posted Sep 1, 2014
Great entertainment. Various restaurants to choose from. Wet Willys has the best slush drinks! The bars and casinos areas had great music. The Broadwalk and beach are walking distance away.

Nice hotel with lots to doPosted Sep 1, 2014
Cons: Rooms could be updated a little
Location: Gambling, beach, boardwalk
We ate at the Cuban Restaurant. We went to a comedy show. We saw a 70's and 80's show. Overall, a great time. I would look up this hotel up again...

Clean Hotel near the beach-easy to check-in-Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, helpful staff
Cons: Better signage-a little difficult to remember where everything was.
Location: Easy to get to-Tanger Outlets ARE THE BEST! Beach was gorgeous-Beach staff very polite and helpful.
Our 2 day stay at the Tropicana was very comfortable. I have never been to a cleaner hotel. Check in was easy- all staff was helpful-some a little difficult to understand due to language. I would definitely recommend to others.

Very disappointed with the TropicanaPosted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: The only positive thing I can think of was that I did like the remote check out option through the television system. That was quick and easy.
Location: The boardwalk was a nice place to visit for a day. We did not spend any time at the beach, but it looked nice.
When we arrived at the hotel, we self parked and entered using the elevator. When we arrived at the casino floor, there were no signs, maps or staff to direct us to the hotel lobby. After wondering around for a few minutes carrying our luggage, we found a desk. Of course, the desk was not staffed and there were no signs or directions to help us find a staffed location. Eventually, one of the casino regulars took pity on us and pointed us in the right direction of the lobby, which was quite a distance from where we entered. Even when we got close to the lobby, the setup was puzzling and we needed additional assistance to find it. Once we checked in, no one offered to help with our bags. It was very difficult to find the elevators to use to get to our room, and we again needed to find a security guard to direct us. Once in room seven twenty two, we immediately noticed that the carpet looked dirty. Exhausted from a long day, I decided to shower. I am five foot ten inches tall, and did not fit under the showerhead. It was mounted a few inches too low. The room contained no books or pamphlets about hotel facilities or area attractions. I believe that some of the information was accessible through the television, but I didn't find the system to be intuitive and quickly gave up.

Outdated but not too badPosted Aug 24, 2014
I got a standard king room but asked for an upgrade and they were able to give me a corner room in the Havana tower which was very specious and had amazing views of AC and the bay. The room is straight out of 1980, has a small box tv and old beat up wood furniture. It was very clean though. The Teop has a nice indoor shopping area that has an outdoor feel with a sky ceiling and palm trees. There are great (pricey) stores if you love to shop. We didn't try any of the restaurants. Also you have to walk a lot in order to get from your room to the parking garage to the casino, etc. There are two pools, one indoor and one outdoor but both were disappointingly small considering the size of the resort. The hottub in the indoor pool is tiny. Be prepared for tons of bachelor/bachelorette parties to roam the quarter. Overall I it's a nice home hotel but nothing "wowed" me.

Really big hotel. Has it all shops spa restaurants clubs Starbucks lol However depending on which tower you are staying in the upkeep is obvious. If ordering same day room service expect 1-2 hr wait. We ordered for the next day at a specific time n they delivered exactly on time!

Pros: Theme Decor and the service was good. Room service was pretty prompt and well served.
Cons: TV directory could have helped to find channel programming. A Map of the Hotel could have also helped to find sites e.g. Outdoor pool. We had to ask .
Location: Location was good - near the beach.
I really like the tropical theme decor. You can almost imagine how it was in old Cuba and their courtyards.
