Perfect location, could stand upgradesPosted Jul 12, 2015
The location is perfect--we didn't even have to cross a street to get to the boardwalk. The room was great--awesome kitchen with full sized appliances, clean bathroom with great water pressure but toilet was slow to flush, furniture and bed comfy but pull out matress is thin and uncomfortable while the bedroom's comforter could be upgraded. TVs were updated flat screens and private balcony with access from the bedroom and living area was a plus. Staff was pleasant, but not out-of-your-way, over-the-top courteous with their service. Hallway carpet towards pool seemed quite old, but pool was clean and my kids had a blast.

Pros: location to boardwalk
Cons: air circulation in indoor pool..........add king beds...........add continental breakfast considering how expensive it is to stay there
Room 403 was great. Clean , comfortable and great tvs. Just wish they would have king beds. My husband slept on the pull out couch............ Room 401 which is a handicap room had smelly furniture that was a bit old. We put towels down just to sit. Otherwise the tub was too narrow for the handicap chair. The refrig was difficult to open the way they put it in. We asked for a new rollaway bed since the one in there was in bad shape. They left it at the door. We could not reach anyone on their phone so we used our cell phone to call reservations to get a hold of someone in the hotel. The pool area was extremely humid with no air flow. My husband was soaked after one hour of watching the grandkids and did not want to go back.

Great location and good for familiesPosted Jul 3, 2015
The indoor pool makes Watsons a great choice for our family. The kids can play in the pool when bad weather hits.

Nice family hotel close to the beach.Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: Close proximity to the beach, one-bedroom suite is a good size for 4 people, very clean, suite has a balcony.
Cons: Sound proofing general structure of the building.
Location: Close to the beach, Boardwalk and eateries.
We stayed here for only one night but had an overall very pleasant experience. We had a one bedroom suite, including one queen bed and one sleeper sofa. A room divider let us close up the living area with the sleeper sofa, so the kiddies were able to go to bed at a decent hour and my husband and I were able to enjoy sitting on the balcony in the evening for a little while. Our room was above the pool area, which has a retractable roof. That said, it was a little bit noisy but he pool closes at 10pm. The noise was only noticible when sitting outside. Windows and sliding door did not let in the sound from the outside and kids were not disturbed. Sleeper sofa was not the most comfortable and would not have been adequate for my husband and I, but the kids didn't seem to mind. The room, bathroom as well as the kitchen area were very clean and everything was very nicely decorated. Sufficient linens, pillows and towels were provided. We only had limited interaction with the staff but the few people we encountered at the front desk were pleasant. Only concern would be the general noise level of the building. The walls and ceilings do not seem very soundproof and we were able to hear substantial noise from the main hallway as well as the suite above us. Overall, still a pleasant stay. Proximity to the beach and boardwalk outweight the noise for us. Our kids are little and a long trip to the beach was out of the question.

Upscale hotel close to the boardwalk/beachPosted May 19, 2015
Pros: Location was key - walking distance to boardwalk and nearby great resturants. Did not move my car all weekend from lot!
Cons: Room noise from above and next door were the worst part. There were a lot of families staying, so the pool was full of kids at 9pm on Friday night.
Location: Boardwalk is 1 1/2 block away. Post office is across the street. Also across the street is a great local eatery - Beach House Grille.
Stayed for 2 nights in May 2015. Staff was accommodating letting me check in early (11:30 am vs. 3pm). Covered parking was nice, as was location.
