The toilet wouldn’t flush, very low flow. Seemed like it wouldn’t work at all if others were using bathrooms. Friendly staff. Also no food spots on this exit. Plan accordingly.

The bed was a little stiff and the pillows were small and lumpy . Water pressure in the shower was not very high pressure for a usual shower . They may need to be updated with shower heads with better pressure . All in all it was a decent hotel and it was quiet and adequate.

This location was convenient, the room and bed was ok. However, there was NO TOWELS, I called and he never brought it. Then the breakfast was expired honey buns, no water for tea, coffee was disgusting, a waffle maker and none were available to make. The whole dining area was filthy. Definitely would not stay here again. I recommend that if you need to stay here bring some food or snacks. The fridge was not fully working either. The staff (male) was polite, we were a late check in due to it beginning to snow. The staff members refused to give me water and said I had to purchase it. This was a horrible experience. This is so inconsiderate.

My room was clean and the decor was nicely done. The mattress was soft which i personally didn't care for but it was OK. Breakfast was unwelming. The hot water dispenser didn't work so the tea bag I had ready was unuseful. There was butter but no bread. A waffel maker but no batter. Cold cereal and packaged honey buns rolls and a trip back to my room to make hot water for tea with the small coffee pot in my room. The outlet next to it didn't work so I moved it to another outlet. This Days Inn is close to the interstate but far enough away that you don't really hear the traffic. You are about 4 miles out of town as well. I may stay again but not sure.

I informed them I was working night shift at local hospital and asked for a room in a quiet area. I understand it is a business. But 5 of the 7 nights I stayed there were minimal vehicles in the parking lot and they put all guests either on both sides of me or across from me. It’s easy to tell by the parking lot where guests are as well as by the constant slamming doors and loudness in halls while I was attempting to sleep. Very frustrating.

Older property undergoing cosmetic improvements. First room I was assigned was missing bathroom fixtures, the second room I was assigned, didn’t have running water and had a terrible sewer smell. The third room had drywall damage from the door handle. It appears to be a family run business and they’re trying to modernize the property. Currently a work in progress but they’re trying.

The hotel isn’t anything great but for the price and function it was fine. It’s seen better days but the was clean and the bathroom newly remodeled.

SMELLED OF SMOKE WHEN YOU WALKED IN ROOMS WERE WITH WHITE SHEETS THAT WERE STAINED TOWELS WERE DINGY AND STAINED REFIGERATOR WAS DIRTY I HAD THEM CHANGE THE SHEETS AND THE BEDDING ALSO THE DUST RUFFLE AROND THE BOX SPRING WAS FLITHY I HAD THEM CHANGE THIS. The parking lot was filthy, deadbirds, bags of trash laying around. Hallway smelled terrible when you walked in. They had something called a water county. So they had these signs posted where the breakfast would have been served. I don't know what a water county is but i believe it is so they don't have to do a breakfast not that i would eat there anyway as dirty as this place was.

First off, the staff did not speak clear english which made it very hard to deal with! We rented 2 rooms , both windows where unlocked and the locks and windows would not prevent someone from getting into the room ! And the rooms where on ground level which made that even worse, the rooms where nasty, hair in several places floors hadnt been properly cleaned heck their was even garbage sitting around in the lobby! This place should be removed from your list of places to stay. Oh and they double charged me , so now i have to wait 3 business days to get the extra money back they charged me ! Not a place id ever stay again!

1. Hairdryer didn’t work but turned out it was the outlet that had a short. 2. No USB charging in my room. Apparently other rooms had them. 3. Key didn’t work & had to be reset. 4. When I went to the lobby to fix the key, I woke up the clerk (8:30am!) who was rather irritated at being awakened. 5. The bed was very comfortable & the pillows were good. 6. Room was cleaned & ready. 7. Altho listed as Atlantic, Iowa, the hotel is actually in Exira, Iowa-nearly 10 miles from Atlantic.

Upon check in staff seemed annoyed to have us there. When asking for additional towels (4 people staying and only given 2 towels and wash clothes) they attempted to not give them, stating they had already given additional linens and then attempted to say we had pets. Breakfast the only options were watered down waffles (we attempted and they were inedible due to how rubbery from the water added to the mix)or 2 cereals. Never saw staff check the breakfast area and no one was there for check out. Overall room quality was fair, doors don’t fit the doorframes letting lots of hallway lights come through.

The outside of the property was a bit run down, but inside you could see where the management was making improvements. The fan in the bathroom made a horrible noise when you turned on the light but we fixed that with a few Fonzie taps.

Beds were comfortable, but there is a damp musty smell throughout the rooms. Breakfast was terrible. No hot water, and the milk was in gallon jugs. We left without eating.

There was something wrong with the water pipes. They schreeched loudly when anyone around us used their water. This woke me up multiple times at night. When i left i told the desk clerk who was indifferent. High rates due to event close by and couldnt sleep.the

Driving up to the property our hearts sank-in a deserted area, weeds everywhere, the once pool was shoddily covered with wood decking that was rotting, driveway, entrances to doors littered with trash, cigarette butts, unkept. Office was decorated with outdated hand me downs, walls had not been painted in years. Man at front desk was courteous. Our room was clean, we were thankful. Bathroom outdated, chipped bath tub, tiles loose when you walked on them toilet slow flushing. Air conditioner barely cooled. We would have left but our money would not of been refunded. 😑

Card scanner did not work. Stood in torrential rain. TV remote did not work. Only one small towel and one washcloth. Dirty bathroom. In the am, NO electricity and again locked out of room since card swiper did work. No coffee/no breakfast. Was told by front desk they would refund. That was a lie. No food or gas in vicinity

Checking in was an uncomfortable experience. Clerk was not very communicative, seemed to be either extremely tired or strung out on something. The check in took much longer than any other hotel I’ve been at.

The room was excellent for what I needed. Had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Would not hesitate to book again if I travel to that area again.

Actually booked 2 rooms the same day. Told the hotel my mistake and kindly asked to refund a room. This place was really rude about it. Told me they couldn't ever supply a receipt for me. Never going back.

The "breakfast" was a joke. The guy that worked the desk to check in barely knew English and was rude. Checked us into a 1 bed smoking room when I had booked a 2 bed non-smoking room. So had to go back and tell him he gave us the wrong room. No apology, just rude. Not dirty, but not overly clean, especially the "breakfast" area.

We could never get a staff member to help us and we paid through Expedia but they still charged us for our stay through their system as well. No one has been able to help resolve this as I could never get someone face to face to help and over the phone they kept saying it was just a hold but it has actually been charged now, so we were double charged.

Would not stay there again !! We have stayed in much nicer places for the money..Breakfast is a joke. The man running the place barely speaks English & was not friendly. Couldn't give me a receipt for the room..machine broke he said. NO POOL !! False advertising..outside not kept up, too many weeds...We would not of stayed there if we hadn't paid online when we reserved the room... Hotel is right off Hwy 80, not in Atlantic..
