Lovely hotel in a very pleasant location.Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Its helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: The superior room we had was in need of an upgrade with regard to decoration etc. Also bottled water would have been appreciated as weather was hot.
Location: Location was excellant with public transport near by a 10 minute journey to Rabat.
Enjoyed our stay very much as staff were charming and attentive.Pool area was very busy when opened up at the week end to outside members of the public.

Lovely Hotel with friendly staffPosted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Very quiet. Beautiful gardens and pool area. very stylish and well maintained building.
Cons: No restaurants or shops around the hotel.
Location: In a residential area a 15 minute bus journey from Valletta. Buses were every 10 minutes. Stop a 3 minute walk away. No restaurants or shops nearby
This is a beautiful hotel and we had a lovely room, upgraded at the last minute to an executive room. Breakfast was delicious and the 3 restaurants offered a good choice of eating experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive and went out of their way to deal with any requests that we made. We will certainly hope to visit the Corinthia Palace again.

Massive rooms with huge comfortable beds.Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Nice building, decent pool, excellent breakfast.
Cons: No smoking in Summer Kitchen and around the pool. Towels cleared from unused sun loungers more quickly.
Location: Easy to get to St Julian's, Mdina, Valletta. Not that much within walking distance, but great if you have a car, or just want to stay at the hotel.
We stayed for three nights, using the hotel as a base for exploring Valletta, Mdina and some of the prehistoric sites, Hagar Qim, Mnajdra and Hal Saflieni Hypogeum (amazing). If you have a hire car, the location is great as you can get all over the island very easily. The hotel is very nice and rooms are fabulous. Breakfast is excellent, served in a lovely room with a wide selection of food and drink. We dined in the Summer Kitchen on the first evening, but found it disappointing and so ate out for the rest of our stay. Compared to the amazing food we had over the previous four days (staying in a BB on Gozo), the hotel restaurants seemed to be poor value and we did not find the food in the Summer Kitchen to be very good. Found excellent food in Mdina, Valletta and St Julian's. Quite a few children around, which we didn't really appreciate, so worth keeping in mind in the school holidays.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staffPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Staff, pool
Cons: The shower doors should either be static or replaced with curtains
Location: The area itself is very quiet but the hotel provides a regular shuttle to St. Julians and is also very close to the bus stop, which goes everywhere.
Words cannot really describe how amazing our stay at Corinthia Palace Hotel went. My friend and I arrived and were greeted with freshly squeezed orange juice. During our first night, there was a countrywide blackout, and we were unable to find a place to eat in nearby St. Julians. (The hotel provides a regular free shuttle to St. Julians for guests provided they reserve seats). However, the phenomenal staff at the hotel kept the kitchen open for us and let us eat in the hotel restaurant despite closing for the evening. The concierge and desk staff were also extremely helpful, working out our tours and car rental. We were even provided a Garmin by the concierge for our hotel. Although some guests may have a problem that the hotel is not within walking distance to a lot of the more commercial areas, it really doesn't make a difference. Between the shuttles and the bus stop, we were able to see the entire country within a few days and visit all the major cities with no problems. I would suggest making sure you tell your cab driver that you are staying in the hotel in Attard though, because there is another Corinthia Hotel in St. Julian's that our driver started to take us too before we sorted things out, and the drive should be around 20 Euro. Only problems? Although we asked for 2 twin beds (separate), our beds were joined, but we were honestly too lazy to have it corrected. Also, the shower door is not very conducive to keeping water in the tub.

Excellent hotelPosted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, very clean, good facilities, attention to detail, huge bed, plenty of sunbeds whatever time of day and free towels, well equipped spa.
Cons: Appearance of the outside, unpainted breeze blocks doesn't become a 5* hotel. Lots of flies around pool, could put in various anti-fly devices
Location: This is the one downside. Very little choice of restaurants in the surrounding area, not at all picturesque for walks etc.
Spent a week in July 2014 at this hotel. Thoroughly recommended based on the service and facilities.

Traditional high quality at the heart of MaltaPosted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: The Staff, standards and comfort
Cons: More control over the number of local Spa/pol users at weekends
Location: Inland location where the Maltese live. Not a tourist hub. Be prepared to travel to restaurants and beaches.
The Corinthia still delights. It maintains a cadre of professional experienced staff blended with an injection of youth and vitality. Traditional setting. Utterly reliable.
